Why doesn’t Emma come in as a partner?

I haven't watched Emmerdale for about 20 years but googling tells me it was John Stape in Corrie that I remember him as.

Missed it live -again, annoyingly. So catching up now.

Regarding Emma as a partner @JoanChitty , she's been asked a couple of times now and said no . I vaguely remember her being annoyed at not being considered way back, when they first got Jimmi on board as a partner when Heston stepped down.

Poor Luca- Graham is such a nasty bully.
And yes- how did he know about Billy- the penny will drop.

Graham did not try to arrange the meeting it all day- he arranged it for the end of the day. He was assumed no-one would be there.

Emma- you can't lie! Tell Zara about Billy!

He's been hit over the head- should the police officer be feeding him things to say? It's very possible he won't remember after a head injury.

And the baby is born is already!- she's fairly big for 29 weeks, isn't she?
