The Rosie thing is getting on my nerves already. But then pretty much every thing to do with her does. Ruining the last few episodes with bringing in her family is just rubbishSad

Raahh · 23/10/2024 19:07

Security at the Mill is just appalling- I mean, Rosie's 'nephew' could be anyone, and him and Carlos just wander in, don't get signed in, and into the staff room, no questions asked.

Raahh · 23/10/2024 19:09

And 'sustainability lead' or not - Rosie should have run the whole thing via the partners.

doctorsnoddy · 23/10/2024 19:10

Just catching up. In what universe does a receptionist order solar panels? I'm sure Bear only thought she was ordering low energy light bulbs!

I'm sure bit of recycling and getting them to ditch plastic bottles, was all she meant to do!

Raahh · 23/10/2024 19:15

Bear is quite possiblity the worst practice manager ever .

Apart from the horrible one who took over from Mrs T for a bit.

(And the one who worked at my local surgery for a bit, who was convicted of fraud).

Raahh · 23/10/2024 19:17

Ugh Graham.

Indeed he is. Solar panels and the Graham/Luca conflict are two things he should have a handle on. Rosie's nephew appears clueless!

Raahh · 23/10/2024 19:23

So typical that Rosie's irritating nephew and his noise means no-one is hearing all this evil vitriol- with the door wide open.

Graham really goaded Luca. And someone has to put 2 and 2 together about him knowing about the dead boyfriend. . (And I'm annoyed at the writers because I can't really imagine Al is really daft enough to divulge personal stuff like that to Graham).

doctorsnoddy · 23/10/2024 19:26

Seems no-one is bothered about the solar panels after all!

doctorsnoddy · 23/10/2024 19:29

Oh no Luca!

theresnoonequitelikegrandma · 23/10/2024 23:53

Why wasn't Emma just a moment earlier opening her door so she could hear the heated conversation? Then again, if I were Luca, I'd have my phone in my pocket switched to record every conversation with slimy Graham since the very first one!!

Emma did have her door wide open- but when Graham spoke to her before he saw Luca he sneakily shut it as he left (he knew what he was up to, the snake).

I'm surprised at Luca not recording his meetings- it's not like he's too bothered about breaking other rules.

Raahh · 24/10/2024 10:40

I keep thinking of ways this is going to wrap up- and I feel like there are too many things going on at once, thrown into the mix last minute.

I suppose if dodgy solar panels cause the Mill to burn down, it will be quite prosaic, since the Mill exist because the original surgery exploded.

But they've teased Ruhma and Rob- they can't just forget about that.

The Graham/Luca thing has to have something to do with it.

So maybe the CQC visit will say the place is a lost cause- and recommend setting fire to it with Graham --and Rosie- in it, whilst Rob and Ruhma re-inact the end of 'Gone with the Wind', on Heston's bench, as it burns

'Tomorrow is another day' and all that.

Fin.

LIZS · 24/10/2024 10:41

Catching up. How come they said come at 6pm and Rosie said it would be dark but it is bright daylight outside!

Raahh · 24/10/2024 10:49

There was a whole lot of yesterday that made no sense LIZS Grin
Not least how a receptionist who had been there 5 minutes had the authority to get cowboy builders in to probably wreck the building.

But that's all Bear's fault really. Both hiring her, and giving her the impression she's got the run of the place Hmm.

LIZS · 24/10/2024 10:49

Will they not need at least three quotes?

Raahh · 24/10/2024 10:52

Quotes? nah. And unlike the rest of the country, they will be able to start work straight away. Not in 6 months when the parts have been sourced/ordered/lost in transit etc.

But it's also Rosie's nepthew, so it will be a disaster.

LIZS · 24/10/2024 11:01

Poor Luca.

martinisforeveryone · 24/10/2024 11:27

That was a particularly nasty script for Graham to deliver to Luca. Will there be a twist that someone was loitering and heard or that he did have record on his phone? Probably not.

@Raahh you say they can't just forget about the Rob and Ruhma storyline, but this is Doctors, remember? 😁

Poor Rosie, you lot are so mean, she's not 'just a receptionist' she's the Head of Sustainability don'tcha know and she has a badge and a certificate, dated 11th November 😉to prove it.

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 24/10/2024 14:03

Hang on, two patients in St Phils at the same time, how does that work?

doctorsnoddy · 24/10/2024 14:04

That's why they can't send Graham with his bust nose!

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 24/10/2024 14:04

Un-Bear-able, boom boom.

ExquisiteIyDecorated · 24/10/2024 14:09

Nasty husband.

JoanChitty · 24/10/2024 14:09

The husband is a bully
