I looked it up and can't find anything to say you have to pay if you aren't using it as a contraceptive. He is really making my blood boil. I hope he is gone very soon but I suspect not.

RafaistheKingofClay · 22/10/2024 16:33

It does look like anything on the accepted list is always free. If it isn’t on the list you have to mark the script to show it’s being used as a contraceptive which will make it free.

Can’t see anything that says you can mark a few item as not free.

Are we taking this too seriously? 😂

lazarusb · 22/10/2024 17:09

Will Graham and Luca have a huge argument, witnessed by the CQC that will lead to the end? Or will Rosie just drive someone mad and they strangle her? Either way, they need to be approaching the end game really soon!

Raahh · 22/10/2024 17:54
Grin

I have always overthought things on Doctors- which is daft, because I'm quite sure the writers don't!

They really are running out of time - and it feels like they keep bringing up things that could potentially be the thing that is the cause of the end. But not everything can be Grin.

It could end up like a St Elsewhere (remember that ? Grin) scenario (where the whole of programme had been in the imagination of the son of one of the surgeons. He had autism, and the 'hospital' was in a snowglobe or something.).

It will all be a big dream of Macs or something. Grin. And he's been sitting in the Icon for the past 20 odd years , mulling over a pint.

RafaistheKingofClay · 22/10/2024 18:28

If they could get rid of Graham this week so he doesn’t spoil the last couple of weeks I’d appreciate it.

Also, I’ve overbooked myself with medical appointments this week so I can’t watch live so that would be a good time for him to go.

lazarusb · 22/10/2024 18:29

I would LOVE to see the back of Graham, preferably sooner rather than later!

I did think wasoverthinking that Bear might have agreed to the CQC to visit because he thought they might be able to expose Graham and what is going on? I don't actually know what a CQC visit entails and what they are looking for...

OCaledonia · 22/10/2024 22:14

@Raahh oh I loved St Elsewhere and remember Dr Ehrlich especially. I absolutely do not remember that ending though 🤦‍♀️

OCaledonia · 22/10/2024 22:15

Graham is awful. What is his problem though? He should live and let live.

Binglebong · 22/10/2024 22:22

Have to say I'm impressed by the actor though- he does "I'm innocent me" slime very well. The look of incandescent rage today was amazing.

I get the impression that they have crammed every story they planned for the next year in the final few weeks. Men's mental health. Tick. Environment. Tick. Homophobia. Tick. Overworked and overstretched NHS. Tick.

RafaistheKingofClay · 23/10/2024 13:16

No live watch for me today. Offered choice if two appointment times for counsellor and stupidly picked 2pm. Fingers crossed Graham will have got his comeuppance by the time I’ve finished.

MadisonAvenue · 23/10/2024 14:03

I’m watching live for a change.

Ooh is there going to be a showdown?

Misthios · 23/10/2024 14:17

solar panel guys are so dodgy. Rosie gives them a blank cheque and bankrupts the mill?

MadisonAvenue · 23/10/2024 14:19

Is Rosie’s cowboy builder nephew going to fail to check if the roof is strong enough to bear the weight of the solar panels?

OP posts:
ExquisiteIyDecorated · 23/10/2024 14:24

Or will one of them fall through the roof because they aren't doing all the proper working at height stuff. Luckily there are doctors in the house.

JoanChitty · 23/10/2024 14:25

So in the meeting it was light outside but they’re surveying in the dark

MadisonAvenue · 23/10/2024 14:29

Oh blimey Luca

OP posts:
unconditionalpurelove · 23/10/2024 14:36

It's a really nasty storyline. Luckily really should have walked away until Emma arrived instead of getting into that discussion with Graham. This is going to get bad for Luca. Graham is getting what he wants.

Yes, I’m surprised he didn’t wait for Emma before going into the meeting with Graham, or simply delaying it and waiting elsewhere until she was ready.
But that’s not such a shocking storyline I suppose.

Oh really Joan, you're so picky 😂

I fully expected someone to come through the roof and ceiling on to Bear's desk. Even better if they'd come through directly above Graham and knocked him out so he had no recollection of Luca punching him and the injury was disguised.

The writers really weren't trying at all. Then again, over the years, our plots have been so much better.

longtompot · 23/10/2024 16:10

Oh Luca! If only he had waited for Emma to come, but then again Graham wouldn't have said half of what he did then. Gah!

lazarusb · 23/10/2024 16:41

I wonder if the penny will drop that Al told Graham about Luca's partner dying when Jimmi finds out what happened? Rosie's family are a nightmare and another unnecessary storyline...

I was actually thinking will they fall through the roof hence ending the practice and the series?!

Raahh · 23/10/2024 18:50

Missed today live- it's the half term holiday here, and dd2 wanted to go in to town. At least it wasn't raining.

So, I'm goingto catch up now, though having read your comments, not sure I want to!
