So, currently broadcast (and just caught up with) Friday 2nd August. Recap:

Lauren - given birth to baby boy at 24 weeks after Joel hid labour inducing drugs in her soup
Jack - been charged with arson with intent to endanger life (Hope seemed pleased!)
Paul - going to donate his corneas to MND research, much to Bernie's dismay
Beth - lost box of fake t-shirts and told Carla where to stuff her job

What else?

There was no talk of Leanne and Steve ever sleeping together until she fell pregnant with Oliver,IIRC. Infact I don’t think I’d ever seen the speak.

"What is the point of Bobby" - I'd like the answer to that too 😆

I think originally it was to give Carla a sparring partner, because both Peter and Simon had left or were about to leave. But yes he is pretty pointless.

I don't think viewers knew Steve and Tracy had slept together either (to produce Amy). I think we only found out when Tracy revealed it late in her pregnancy.

But Bobby and Lauren? Please no. Two pointless characters having a baby!

Bobby and Lauren were alone together a couple of times. That's all is needed on Corrie except for poor Toyah.

I say bring back that friend if max 's ,,who was the brother of the other girl ...( Yep ! ..I have forgotten everyone's names 🤣!).

He added some good light hearted humour .!

Surly, Bobby would have brought up the conversation about the baby being his if they had slept together?

Joel bought Lauren that necklace, Roy drew it from memory when he was imprisoned for the murder and DeeDee gave it to Joel to give to the police and he never did

Joel gave Lauren a necklace from memory. It was found by Hope in his car. Did he not retrieve it from the flat after her assaulted Lauren? Roy remembered it.

Joel doing a false statement I see. The whole my word against his. Hopefully DS Swain will get it all sorted and let’s hope Kit doesn’t believe his statement

I thought that too.
And this is most lax NICU in the history of the NHS. Toilets close to the baby room, nobody cleans their hands. Hands on their faces, mouths, noses and then clutching the incubator. I’m stress eating watching this.

But DeeDee and Lauren actors are great.

Thank god the truth is out. I just hope Kit doesn't believe that piece of shit
