So, currently broadcast (and just caught up with) Friday 2nd August. Recap:

Lauren - given birth to baby boy at 24 weeks after Joel hid labour inducing drugs in her soup
Jack - been charged with arson with intent to endanger life (Hope seemed pleased!)
Paul - going to donate his corneas to MND research, much to Bernie's dismay
Beth - lost box of fake t-shirts and told Carla where to stuff her job

What else?

I suppose amongst other things we've got Cassie trying to fleece old Ken out of the money she now knows he's got, to look forward to. 🙄🫤

Unless anyone knows differently there are currently 4 baddies on the street. That's not including Mason who may or may not be turning over a new leaf.

It's hard to know re Ken, because the acting can be a bit iffy!

I think Steve and Tracy are seen as endgame, I'll be surprised if they don't get back together. Steve has always been with dominant women but he never used to be such a manchild.

I hadn't considered that Ken may be setting a trap for Cassie. Either way it'll be interesting (I think 🤔)

Don't think it's a trap as Cassie walked in halfway through the conversation. Not sure Ken is that quick thinking! Also he seems to really like her.

Yes I agree, they seem to be getting on like a house on fire, and Ken is someone who seems to take people on trust. Not really the type to set a trap I would have thought?

It’s just the way he was talking on the phone to me, the really loud fake voice when you know someone might be listening

Kens teeth sometimes don't fit right. My mil has issues with her teeth.
She also speaks loudly partly because she won't wear her hearing aid.

My mum used to talk louder on the phone the further away someone lived.

I'm counting Cassie and Kit as bad'ns as well as Joel and Rowen. The first two may not be murderers or serial killers but they're dodgy as hell.

Vidal Sassoon guy (😆) and Joel must be on their way out in the next few months so who will the next proper baddy be, I wonder. Kit gives off more 'troubled' vibes than actual villain, but they normally having the next one warming up in the wings.
