So, currently broadcast (and just caught up with) Friday 2nd August. Recap:

Lauren - given birth to baby boy at 24 weeks after Joel hid labour inducing drugs in her soup
Jack - been charged with arson with intent to endanger life (Hope seemed pleased!)
Paul - going to donate his corneas to MND research, much to Bernie's dismay
Beth - lost box of fake t-shirts and told Carla where to stuff her job

Considering he’s a hairdresser, you’d think it would be styled much better.

I found Rowan's re-emergence quite confusing. At the start of the show Leanne seemed to have realised where she had gone wrong and I thought she'd kicked him to the kerb. Then suddenly she's all over him again. I suppose this is to more drama to 'force' Nick and Toyah together.

But other than annoying Nick, what does Rowan want with Leanne anyway - I thought he was all about the money and she hasn't got any.

@PurplePanda1 Last night it looked like a meringue swirling about his head. Surely the sight of him would scare off customers??

Why did Tracy knock on the door? Did she give the keys back when she went to Spain?

Betsy’s mum is on to Joel. And DeeDee wants to be looking in the bedroom and bathroom not settling for one bottle of nail varnish. Always look under the bed.

They’re all reappearing tonight! I thought Tracy had left??

David looks like he’s been in the Caribbean for six weeks.

And I think there would be more girly evidence than a random pot of nail varnish in the back of a cupboard. You’d look in the bathroom (obviously no bathroom set available! 🤣)

At least it looks like both Dee Dee and Swain are suspicious of him now

A sighting of Ryan after months in the wilderness!

Not a good episode but it was saved by David and Nick's interactions, and DeeDee and Swain both being onto Joel. If DeeDee is instrumental in taking him down, it will save her character.

Where is Lauren? Has she gone to Ireland?

Baby will still be in hospital surely?.

Nick and David are the best double act of any of the soaps at the moment !

They work and bounce off each other so well .

Did Joel move all the furniture back into his flat , that Michael and Ronnie took out ?

I thought Lauren told Max she was going to a supported care unit. Presumably within the amazing hospital complex.
I had forgotten Ryan was back from Scotland...did he go with Crystal and it didn't work out or was that Ibiza?
I want Daisy to go back to Daniel and Bertie. Ryan will be led astray by Kit.
Id like Dr Ali to come back and have a nice romance with Deedee.

Joel got a notification asking him to rate his experience of the airport?

It was because Joel booked flights and then cancelled them that he got the email

Belfast City was renamed Belfast George Best years ago...so Deedee should have read that out.

When Nick dragged out Gail's suitcase and everything fell out were we supposed to notice something? The camera kept zooming in on the stuff on the floor but I couldn't tell what it all was.

Enjoyed the Nick/David banter. Very natural sounding dialogue. Unlike Mary's 'What? How?' on the news of Traceyluv's return.
