Couldn't think of a witty title. Bit gutted re; Grace and Reuben.

OP posts:

I am not a fan of Matilda at all, getting serious mean girl vibes - her and Sean are well suited.

Jessy seems nice and quite switched on, I can’t believe in a million years she would want to be with Joey - he must be getting told by the producers to continually stir up shit as no one could surely be that obnoxious otherwise!

At the moment I’m hoping Jess and Ayo win, wasn’t originally a fan of either but do think they are genuine and both decent people.

I like Josh however reckon Mimi is only with him because Ayo is not interested.

I’ve been routing all along for Ciaran and Nicole but have became a bit bored now and agree they are getting smug & annoying, do reckon they will win though.

Rainbow163 · 25/07/2024 01:27

I think it might be ones that Grace fancies. He seems quite close with Ayo in there. I think he can’t handle or get over the fact that Grace is not crying over him so is taking it out on the guys she couples up with

I think it's a bit of both. He gets on with Ayo, because really, you can't start a fight with a lamppost. He's a classic - I can't... because I didn't fight with Ayo...

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 25/07/2024 06:44

I don’t want any of them to win! But most of all I don’t want Nicole or Ciaran. Her screeching voice and dramatics do my head in.

I lost interest when Uma went.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 07:08

It is funny watching the ones that think they are safe but are wrong about public perception.

Sean realised last night I think, or started to. He finally realised he is not loved.
Joey doesnt realise anything and if anything feels more comfortable now.
Grace got a dose of reality before getting dumped. She is not the only sexy contestant.

Jess and Ayo to win for me. But it will be bloody Nicole and the lovely Cairon.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 07:09

Agree Uma was the best contestant.

Picoloangel · 25/07/2024 07:19

I can’t stand Matilda she’s just so full of herself and just so common - a horrible word but I don’t know how else to put it.

I really feel for Josh - Sean and Joey are just poking and poking him and then gaslighting him saying it’s all a joke and he has misunderstood that and is overreacting.

I also can’t bear to watch Joey at this point. He’s disgusting. We can sit and debate all of his problems and challenges all day long but none of those excuse his behaviour. By extension I now really dislike Jessy - how can she possibly want to be involved with someone as stupid, aggressive, antagonistic and unpleasant as Joey.

Grace siding with Joey when she knows exactly what it’s like to be his victim was awful. As much as I admire how she’s conducted herself I didn’t like her. Her smirking at the misfortune of others was v unattractive and she was awful to Samantha.

It was good to see Mimi stand up for herself and I liked that Ayo went to support Josh. I’m sorry I still don’t like Jess though.

Love Ciaran but I agree that Nicole looks dreadful with all of the tweakments she’s had. She does look like his Mum as others have said.

CellophaneFlower · 25/07/2024 07:23

Loved Josh. Especially when he pointed out Jessy also might have a career and be busy. Hallelujah! It hasn't crossed Joey's mind Jessy just might not give up her whole life and move to Essex off the back of a couple of months relationship. Unfortunately it seems he might be right. Ugghhh Jessy. Such strong opinions and morals, yet so weak.

You'd be excused for thinking Joey is the new PM with all his talk about how busy his life is. Wtf does he do other than appear on celeb shows?

Can't believe Mimii saod to Sean "I know you and I know you woukdnt want to upset anyone". Wtf? It's all he ever does... he thrives on it. Is her eyesight as blinkered as her emotions seem to be?

Didn't appreciate the comment on the other thread btw. You can't call out racism by discriminating against a massive county. How ironic.

CellophaneFlower · 25/07/2024 07:54

I don't like Matilda either, I just don't get a good vibe from her, but I do find my judgement of her often clouds my view. When Sean was discussing his "sweet roast", which apparently couldn't be nasty as it involved sweets 🙄 she could have put the boot in, but she did seem surprised it was still a 'thing'. Sean then used all her words "thought it had been squashed" and "light hearted" when trying to play it down to Josh, as he clearly doesn't have a mind of his own.

I find Ayo really infuriating that he rarely has an opinion and just kind of drifts about. He said to Josh something like "it's not an argument, he just doesn't understand how you feel". God there's only so many times the poor bloke can explain how he feels 🙄

BellesAndGraces · 25/07/2024 08:02

@Picoloangel By extension I now really dislike Jessy - how can she possibly want to be involved with someone as stupid, aggressive, antagonistic and unpleasant as Joey.

Yes, she will be judged by the company she keeps but doesn’t seem to mind. Joey is performing true to type but I’m surprised at Jessy.

I found Ayo’s conciliatory/say nothing approach last night very annoying.

I think Sean might be beginning to see that he might not be walking out to a massive sweet empire and Matilda’s heart was clearly starting to sink at the realisation that she might have anchored her ship to the wrong man.

Picoloangel · 25/07/2024 08:12

Which comment on the other thread? I don’t remember making any sweeping statements 🤔

You’re all right about Ayo - he didn’t actually say or do anything supportive of Josh. I hate to see what they are doing to Josh it’s very uncomfortable viewing.

I don’t know how anyone manages to have a conversation with Ayo about anything. He doesn’t say anything much and when he does it’s generally the wrong thing.

I agree too that Josh calling out Joey for being so sexist and arrogant over his busy life and “I’m obviously much more important than you dear” was really refreshing. I actually have to stop typing stuff about Joey because I’m so angry about all he says and does.

Jollylollylee · 25/07/2024 08:22

Yeah exactly, another reason I’m glad Grace has gone - those two were a bad combo and I can see why they’re friends. It all makes sense now!

And yeah Matilda bet on the wrong horse lol when she came in Sean was seen as very popular and sweet on the outside but she’s now probably realising now not so much 😆 Omar would’ve been better for her image lol although tbf we don’t know how things would’ve went with those two.

oviewan · 25/07/2024 08:28

I can't stand Nicole but I actually think there's underlying MH issues too.

Dweetfidilove · 25/07/2024 08:46

@CellophaneFlower that was another moment when I felt so proud of Josh. When he asked Jess what she does, I thought a switched flicked in her head, but alas, it seems like she'll be traipsing around behind Joey.

Of course none of it registered for PM Joey, so I guess he'll still just head off to Essex and expect she's coming behind him.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 08:51

Jeesy just wants to win. No intention of being with Joey.

None of them have any intention of being with each other. (Nicole does with Ceiron, his mum will sort that out)

kerstina · 25/07/2024 09:11

I don’t get all the Matilda hate . I think she seems quite laid back, great fun and self depreciating. Her comment after the award for vanity ‘ So we are vain and ugly’ Did make me lol

Back21970 · 25/07/2024 09:18

My dislike of Matilda is largely based on how she tolerates Sean’s behaviour - when she first came in I quite liked her.

fairydust11 · 25/07/2024 09:20

I’ve never warmed to Matilda and when she kept stirring asking Cieron to repeat what he’d said to Harriet cemented that for me. I think like Grace she’s a mean girl and Jessy has definitely jumped on that bandwagon too as someone mentioned through the Joey association and her complete and utter defence of him.
Any normal person can disagree or tell their partner they disagree with them - but no, Matilda and Jessy go along with everything their partner says which is probably worse than Sean & Joey because at least (even wrongly) Sean & Joey actually believe what they’re saying. Matilda & Jessy know (or at least I think they do) they are in the wrong, yet support them and say nothing.

BellesAndGraces · 25/07/2024 09:27

I also really liked Matilda when she came in. She had such good energy but has become bitchier as time has gone by. Her attraction to Sean also makes me question her values. I think it would be hard to sustain the bubbly personality she had at the start and the way she is presenting now is probably more like her true self.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 09:43

I dislike Matilda intensely, however she does not agree with Sean and is constantly saying so to others and to him!

Same with Jessie.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 09:45

Tonight will be so interesting, Grace being chucked out will make everyone insecure.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 09:45

Nicole will be super happy on so many levels.

See, I didn't. I didn't like her from the start, but there was no reason for it, so didn't voice it at first until she got with 1 of the "chuckle brothers", thanks for that jem Josh 😂 I think I just found her a bit fake, perhaps as she marched straight in and was so over familiar with everyone.

The comment that said people from Essex are typically racist.

BlackStrayCat · 25/07/2024 10:00

People from Essex are racist? Did someone say that?

I think Jessy is really infatuated with Joey Essex but doesn't actually like the real Joey. Which is funny as Joey keeps banging on about meeting someone who loves the real him and Jessy has also mentioned the same. The part a few episodes ago when she said very firmly "I know you" is so ridiculous when she actually knows fuck all about him really as it's been a matter of weeks.
