I don’t think Maya is a natural at presenting at all, she seems oddly stilted and talks too much in the interviews. Agree she was far more enthusiastic about Mimi and Josh but I would say that is favouritism and unprofessional.
Sad that Cieran didn’t win .Not so much Nicole. That explains why she looks older all the time spent in the Spanish sun.

Pleased with the result, and I actually think Mimi and Josh have got more of a chance of working outside, if only for the fact that for all her 'I trust you 100%' sadly I think Nicole will lose her mind the first time he does a nightclub PA without her, or she finds pretty girls in his Instagram comments.

I doubt he was promised anything. He assumed he'd walk it as he believes his own hype, what he didn't account for was the public seeing right through his act and seeing him for the misogynistic narcissist he actually is.

Echoing everyone else’s thanks for this lovely thread! I’ll miss it too :)

None of my friends (that I speak to regularly) are watching Love island, so it was nice to be able to chat about it across all these threads and hear different POVs!

I don't have Netflix so can't do love is blind but I'm up for LI USA

It's been fun and no-one I know in real life watched it so it was good to have the thread and see all of the differing opinions (although I think we all agreed Joey was a twit).

Might give LI USA a go - is it on ITV Be?

@Picoloangel I always remember you as we normally have the same opinions on islanders. This year, not so much, but that's OK too 😜

I've enjoyed the threads this year as I normally go on holiday not long after it's started, so I have to avoid the threads then binge watch when I get back and have nobody to discuss it with till I've caught up and can find you all again!

Didn't go away this year as we got a dog 😂

I think this is the first time I’ve really changed my mind about islanders. Harriet gave me the absolute rage for a couple of weeks as did Ronnie but I really grew to like them. Similarly I really liked Jess to begin with but if I ever hear “I’m the prize” again in any context ever, I think I’ll spontaneously combust!
