@burnoutbabe

It kind of cheapened it. It's a great programme but there was really no need.

n3f5 · 06/12/2024 10:26

Yes they did seem to suggest she was dead by just showing her mother and her in photos. Strange choice. I assume they expect no one to complain as surely it's great she is alive and well? But I was expecting her death to be mentioned all the way to the end.

I said the same thing to my husband. I genuinely thought she'd committed suicide because of his actions.

Glad she hasn't, obviously.

I suppose they wanted to get the point across that stalking can and does lead to deaths.

n3f5 · 06/12/2024 10:27

'Murder messages' is a fine name. The malicious messages that were sent repeatedly spoke of her murdering her children.

They weren't all about murder.

n3f5 · 06/12/2024 11:07

I didn't say they were all about murder.

A lot were, probably about 80%

Lalgarh · 09/12/2024 21:09

The Murder of Jane Doe just starting now.

Lalgarh · 09/12/2024 21:16

MOAR acting skills from Jorge

Allthehorsesintheworld · 09/12/2024 21:21

As soon as they start the “I’m ill, I’m claustrophobic, poor me I’m this, that and the other” you know they’re guilty as hell.

Lalgarh · 09/12/2024 21:22

It's odd that he should be surprised at the arrest now considering they told him before he went to hospital he was being arrested

Allthehorsesintheworld · 09/12/2024 21:32

All acting isn’t it?

But if drs turn off life support can his lawyers claim he didn’t kill her, she could have survived?
That poor girl. She should never have had this happen. Sounds like he followed her to UK.

Just part of his victim playing

Lalgarh · 09/12/2024 21:34

26 years old

Allthehorsesintheworld · 09/12/2024 21:46

One woman in Britain killed every 4 days by partner or ex partner.
That is truly shocking.

dapsnotplimsolls · 09/12/2024 21:48

Fucker didn't realise the body-worn camera was on.

Lalgarh · 09/12/2024 21:49

Titchy little shit with it

Allthehorsesintheworld · 09/12/2024 21:50

He’s not falling asleep. He’s acting. Hope he gets deported back to the US, think their prisons are tougher than UK.
He’s not asked about her at all.

Allthehorsesintheworld · 09/12/2024 22:02

20 years. He’d have got whole life in the USA wouldnt he?

I hope he dies a painful death on the Eve of his release day.

SydneyCarton · 09/12/2024 22:12

It may just be how the programme was edited but he never once asked about the victim, how she was, whether she would live. Nothing.

Nope - that's causation. Only if the doctors did something "palpably wrong" would that break the chain of causation from his actions to her death.

ShiteRider · 09/12/2024 22:19

He’s an inadequate little shit and the difference in how he was with female and male officers was significant.

Also, every single week I look at those custody officers walking in front of prisoners with their hands in their pockets and think ‘who trained you’?!

I worked in Broadmoor for a while and that was one of the first things they warned you about.

RebeccaDecember · 09/12/2024 22:35

I find 24 Hours in Police Custody such compelling and fascinating tv. This one was a really hard watch, that poor woman.

I am curious why is there no information about Jorge Blanco anywhere on the internet - no trial reported, nothing..

Turmerictolly · 09/12/2024 23:36

Poor young woman. What a manipulative person, I presume he'll be deported to the US. Doesn't seem fair that the Uk tax payer has to pay the bill.

Thankyou! My dad used to be a prison officer and taught me that you always need the prisoner in you sight at all times, hands free etc. Never let them follow you into a room.

( NB this has never come in useful in my daily life!)

BerriesCones · 10/12/2024 17:12

I love how his health issues kept moving around his body. They moved from his eyes to his kidneys at one point. Such a dick trying to get sympathy after what he did.
