Scary how disconnected he was about it all, like it was all just a computer game. One of the officers involved thought he won't stop once he's out because it's how he gets his fix. Chilling.

Turmerictolly · 02/12/2024 21:36

Anyone watching tonight's episode?
She's blown through £200K of someone else's money, a lot of it on crap cocaine some of which she took whilst working as a teaching assistant at a school. Child at home too (although they don't say how old). I hope they manage to catch the drug dealers.

Allthehorsesintheworld · 02/12/2024 22:00

Stupid woman. She’ll lose her job, maybe her home, her child could end up in care if she goes to prison. What an idiot.
The drug dealers are scum ( the solicitor is so sleazy too) Hoping for long sentences… Sadly not long enough.

healthybychristmas · 02/12/2024 22:01

I didn't see what sentence she got. I was absolutely gobsmacked at how low the sentences were for the other guys. They'll be out in half the time and will be dealing while they're in prison

Hels20 · 02/12/2024 22:11

Really disappointed with the sentencing. And what did she get? She stole £200k from her uncle? It was sickening. She was so jittery - you could tell she had a drug problem.

VexedofVirginiaWater · 02/12/2024 22:23

Yes I was waiting to see what sentence she got - but it just said she had pleaded guilty. Despicable woman. Poor old guy can't even buy himself a new armchair.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/12/2024 23:02

That solicitor is as dodgy as hell. I would t trust him as far as I could spit!

Yes, basically, Alan's money ends up paying that solicitor. Men wanging on about expensive cars - is there anything less attractive than that?

Musicaltheatremum · 02/12/2024 23:17

I found it so very sad for Alan. I'm so glad he can stay in the home. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who wanted to club together to buy him a chair.
Agree re sleazy lawyer!

timetoreset · 03/12/2024 06:27

The solicitor is like a modern day Dickens character, defending the indefensible and making shed loads of (visible) money out of it.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/12/2024 09:03

It was the sunglasses and the rap song that got me. Urghh!

VexedofVirginiaWater · 03/12/2024 09:20

Yes - really sleazy and completely full of himself.

she worked at my daughter's school.
I applied for a TA job there years ago and didn't get it. It was for an English based TA role and I have an English degree! Oh well, I've got a much better job these days.

Turmerictolly · 03/12/2024 09:45

Shocking @rallyba and yet they keot on a drug addict. They had their suspicions as they told the police she refused to remove her face mask even when parents complained. She was trying to hide her nose and mouth all the way through the episode. It's so grim that she had to use tampons in her nose to stem the bleeding and still couldn't stop.

Laughingravy · 03/12/2024 09:52

That solicitor!! 🙄That he wanted to appear in the programme says a lot.
It's difficult for solicitors to do a good job for a decent wage when doing criminal work these days. So justice - such as it is - is only available to the well-heeled drug dealers.
Sadly no 'after' picture of Tyrone. Getting in the cops face over being rude to his mum to try put him off his stride. And shouting about how better educated he is while on the floor in cuffs. We needed a smug shot to mug shot 😄

Sidebeforeself · 03/12/2024 10:02

The solicitor was like Chabuddy G ( sp?!) from people Just do Nothing! Honestly so many of these drug dealers are just pathetic little boys in their knock off designer gear - but still living with their Mums!

And in the previous episode that guy was the very definition of an incel.

I wish they'd given a bit more background information about the relationship, e.g. how long they'd been together, who broke up with who and why, what his behaviour was like in their relationship, whether he was controlling, possessive etc. It seemed strange she didn't consider it was him from the start considering all this harrassment started just after they'd broken up.

It said they had been together for two years.

sweatervest · 03/12/2024 18:49

so pissed off they didn't say what sacha got as a sentence. her poor uncle. honestly that was the most crunchy 24 hours episode i've seen for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages. .

and she was working with kids.

DancingTurtle · 03/12/2024 18:51

That was an infuriating watch. I have never wanted to physically slap someone before, but there were so many people in need of a good ear-boxing on this latest episode.

Turmerictolly · 03/12/2024 19:23

It's a brilliant programme and so fascinating to watch how the investigations develop. Also sad to see the outcomes of the crimes. To Catch a Killer is also good.

Victoriawould24 · 03/12/2024 22:23

I am pretty disgusted that they gave that horrible solicitor air time and basically a platform to raise his profile.
It wasn’t funny like in the way people collectively laugh at idiots on reality tv, this is real life.
He clearly lives off the profits of crime (and I bet a rich mummy and daddy he probably lives with)and was even shown disrespecting the detective after the interview joining in with the vile dealer, it was very uncomfortable viewing.
The final frame was him in his chav mobile with the information that all modern slavery charges were dropped basically implying because he’s a shit hit solicitor, best advertising he could ever have.
Im really disappointed with Chanel 4 for doing this, it’s such a brilliant show please don’t try and sensationalise it for cheap clickbait.

DancingTurtle · 03/12/2024 22:32

I think they did the solicitor up like a kipper. What a vile man he is.

healthybychristmas · 04/12/2024 09:35

@rallyba do you know what sentence she got? Did parents guess that she was taking cocaine? She seemed in a very bad way physically.

Lalgarh · 04/12/2024 10:05

Did I get this right. Did that criminal genius kingpin in the Biggleswade crew who proclaimed himself an educated GENIUS who was unimpeachable to the Feds (Feds. FFS) actually take payments from his drug punters by traceable bank transfers to him / gang rather than in cash?

I think they were showing where the proceeds of crime go. The supporters who like to think they are "innocent" but profiteering just the same.
