Blimey I had no idea that was James Dreyfus. I think I might be rewatching episode 3 so I'll keep an eye out for him.

For anyone who’s watched the Last Kingdom, I’ve just realised that Aemond is Osferth!! What a transformation for that actor.

@YaWeeFurryBastard I watched Last Kingdom and took me a while to realise that Aemond was in it, he looks so different. Certainly wasn't expecting that full frontal we got of him last night!

I heard it picks up the pace from the next episode which it definitely needs

Unless I'm very much mistaken, absolute scenes in the next episode. Huge, game changing stuff.

I’m still on the fence, it’s just not gripping me like GOT. The younger characters are too ‘modern’ for my liking and Aemond’s pouting is really annoying, not a patch on Jon Snow.

Haunted Harrenhall was about the only thing I liked.
Maybe because I know the whole story/ what is coming, I’m finding it all a bit Meh.

Someone upthread said Aegon isn’t a sadist - he watches his bastard children cage fighting in fleabottom! Don’t you remember the scene with the white haired children?

I also know most of the story that is to come. Still no likeable characters for me, and the humour/campness of GoT is missing. Everybody is deathly serious and po-faced, though Simon Strong seems to be able to crack a joke or two.

Yes, no Tyrion / Varys/ Littlefinger type interactions.

Anyone notice the Sesame Street names for the Tullys? Grover and Oscar.

There's a Kermit and an Elmo in the family tree as well, but they've sadly left them out of the tv show on the grounds that they're silly.
