I reckon ch4 paid for the flights to create more content and also rented that flat and that's why it was empty with no furnishings.

Leah's flat was definitely staged- it looked immaculate. Trip to IKEA paid for no doubt by Channel 4 to add to the drama (does it feel like a couple moving in together or her dad helping her out?). Hotel in Scotland- I don't believe Chad paid for that and he would probably have a better idea of her actual likes. The production team just pick somewhere which would be more of interest to an older person to reinforce the age gap.

I thought Matt and Maria were quite sweet. I don't believe Jay would really move out to India and am surprised that he wouldn't use the confidence gained from the relationship with Veena to find a girlfriend in real life.

Leah was just after a free holiday I think. There's was no way she was going to end up with chad, I think she probably had a string of men on the go. I also laughed at the hot pants in Fargo and the empty fridge. I'd say it's unbelievable but I met many people who lived like that at uni and expected their guests to bring their own food etc.

Sarah baffled me. Think she's very depressed but don't see Jgoy helping with that. He just wants someone to look after him.

hi its matt here, there was an interview with the sun and no none of what the idiot above said is true, the show filmed in 2022 before that maria had worked away for 2 years and was out of the philippines and after covid the international flight to the philippines only started feb 2022 and the first meeting was august that year so when exactly did we have time to meet before that? also she is working and she is on more than me and i was on enough for her visa sooooo wtf to the faker above, or hater whatever. love to know who you are. but you dont have a clue what you are talking about i can take criticism anytime it dont bother me but some idiot saying such dumb stuff does, message me anytime just stop being fake. and I didnt have friends or did you not watch the show, you dont know anything and you certainly dont know me.
