I think I'd do something with apricots because I can just about bring myself to eat them. Apricot jam is fine.

I will never be able to take part in this competition because I hate the words 'plating' and 'prep' (and also because I'm a very ordinary cook).

I have just made banana muffins, I freeze over ripe bananas, let them defrost then cut off the end and squish the banana out, and yes, it does look like poo! So you might be right, but I am happy to eat them.
