Shania went up in her estimation last night as she was asked who inspires her and she replied her girlfriend. So far she hasn’t mentioned her sexuality, it hasn’t been represented once in her make up. So much more refreshing to find someone who doesn’t make their sexual preferences their whole personality.

Those eyebrows were ridiculous. Not sure why they called them '90s skinny brows' we didn't used to block out our brows and paint them on over the top! They were more like drag-queen brows.

I agree about Jess, she really didn't take the help very well compared to Finley. Also, how is she not roasting in that hat?

Totally agree that all the 'stories ' and 'journeys' that everyone supposedly goes on really irritating. I'm wondering if that's why the standard is quite poor as they're more interested in 'the story' than actual talent. However I do think it would be quite novel to have a straight white guy tell his story of his struggles in the make up industry where frankly there can't be many if this program is representative of the industry.

Also Connor really irritates me. If he says he works for a HIGH end make-up counter again I will scream. Every single guest judge is his 'idol/inspiration' and he overacts to the nth degree every time one of them is introduced. And when Lady Gaga sent that 'personalised' message which was anything but he said , 'as a gay man that personal message from Lady Gaga meant so much more to me'. I actually thought that message was really disappointing and generic and why 'as a gay man'?. Totally self obsessed.

I've been rewatching previous series, and they were a lot better. Sophie and Eve remain my favourites. I think this series they all seem to be very young and inexperienced. No idea how Jess got this far.

I did like the amethyst colour Shania painted her girlfriend, though. I'd fancy that when we redecorate the bedroom.

WTF were those crystal things stuck on the models eyes at the end? I bet they would hurt if they came unstuck and got in your eye.

A lot of the face off challenges have been pretty rubbish.

Same, though was bit concerned at Ella’s wonky eye. And Connor telling the audience his work stations are always messy and chaotic and then struggling to find the mascara . Were you happy with choice of winner.

Just watched it. All 3 were really good and most importantly seemed like nice people. I agree re Ella’s eye being bit wonky and Conner oversharing by admitting messy work station. I was rooting for ella but happy with the result.

Did I imagine it or did they use to have the industry people say if interested in working with them after the master class. Not quite job offers but close enough. I suppose that puts industry people on the spot too much now.

They did all seem lovely and open to learning and accepting criticism unlike quite a few contestants in previous services. I hope they all have successful careers.

I actually liked 3 of them in the final which is not usually the case - usually there is at least one I don't want to win.
