I can't stand david and his fucking shouting, nikita, Bradley and Colston are dull as fuck especially Colston pob looking dullard.

I voted to save fern, she at least seems rooted in reality.

There is something I really don’t like about Colstone, can’t quite put my finger on what it is but he grates on me.

let’s be honest, they’re all boring as fuck and absolute nobodies other than Louis. He’s the only reason I’m still watching.

They’re all so boring. If it wasn’t for Louis dropping truth bombs I would have switched off long ago.

The “boys” are actually quite insular and spiteful - like mean girls at school they gang up and don’t let anyone else in. Marisha and Zeze are then sticking together because the boys are so close, Fern and Louis seem like outcasts. It’s a very disconnected house, no one has formed close relationships except the boys.

If I was Fern I’d just tell Louis it was me, same as when Levi said Colson was boring - she had no choice and had to pick someone. If Fern started caring less about what people thought, she’d be great. She needs to go rogue and start speaking her mind.

When Fern tried to make conversation with Nikita after finding out he’d nominated her three times - it was so painful and she comes across as needy. Marisha sees that and has no respect for her.

Marisha is dreaming if she thinks she has a chance of winning. No way.

David reminds me of a pregnant woman at Centerparcs in that fleece poncho.

I voted twice each for zeze and Fern and once for Marisha- I hope she wins her Olivier award for Guys and Dolls and I’ll buy a ticket to go see her which is better than votes. I’m still mad Ekin Su rained on her parade that night & I can’t see why she and not Bradley has been nominated as not courageous/ cowardly by the bro group

Jesus. Barrymore was a horrible bully to say the very least.

Jimmy Savile was also on that series I believe. Brought in for two days, paid a fortune and made to feel like a king.

Well I dreamt last night that Fern was rescuing kittens so I've given her 1 of my votes.

The other 4 have gone to Zeze. I had never heard of her before this but she has really grown on me. She's strong, funny, intelligent and I'd like to see her on TV more. The way she was with Louis during their evil rulers stint was so funny.

Fern has had many years of a successful career and I (50+) feel that if us older women can help support strong, no nonsense, with common sense younger women into media hopefully they can effect changes that will benefit women as a whole across a range of industries not just TV.

I would much rather personalities like Zeze's be influencing young women than personalities like E-S. As long as they like kittens of course 😻😹

P.S. Also meant to say - Marisha seems nice. Just nice. Too apologetic to E-S when it came down to it. And I don't think Marisha did anything wrong that warranted such a simpering apology and creeping.

I don't want Marissa to win the Olivier I want Cassie Levy to win but expect Nicole to take it.

Voted for fern again, purely because they keep nominating her.

Pete Burns and Barrymore bullied Jodie Marsh, George Galloway taunted Barrymore about his alcoholism then shunned Rula Lenska after playing creepy sex games with her.

I haven’t liked a lot of Fern’s behaviour in the house but I think that’s due to the fact that the others have ignored and dismissed her because she’s a woman of a certain age. Nikita blatantly dislikes her, Ekin Su took offence at everything she said. I’d like to keep her in to show that self satisfied bunch that we don’t agree with them.

Zeze is a much better role model than Ekin Su. Marisa is a huge talent and should not have been begging for her forgiveness.

The boys seem quite misogynistic and unfriendly.

David's trouserless cavorting is too ridiculous for words. I understand he's gone for "novelty" to get noticed but (I didn't know he existed before CBB) surely he doesn't strut around the outside world like that?

Re David. Yes he does. It's his 'thing'. 😅I used to watch the Weekender series. He was just the same. I like him. He's very perceptive and never nasty.

Nikita is my least favourite. He actively (its deliberate) ignores Fern, and has nominated her every time. Maybe he has Mummy issues, or hes just ageist.

I really hope Louis wins. Because I too find Jedward and Ronan Keating a bunch of self satisfied mooks. And he's kept this series watchable.

They are so going to pair Nikita with an older [than him] woman in the next series of Strictly. 😆

I don’t watch Strictly but was Fern a contestant? Have they met before and have some history? Can’t fathom his irrational hatred of her .. not really fussed about any of them but Fern got my vote she’s older and ignored that’s my reason!

Sneek peak was quite telling, I know Fern comes across bitter sometimes but I do think the men are not bothered with the woman at all really in this and seem to be in there own bubble.
And Nikita does seem to have a problem with Fern like she is not worthy to even have a polite conversation with.
I did like him at first but he does come across a bit arrogant.

Fern was with Artem (he's on DWTS now and married to Nikki Bella who used to be with Jon Cena).
Artem and Fern did not get on so well iirc.
Not Brendan-Lulu levels of animosity but not great. He denied being a wanker to her. She inferred he wasn't a great teacher.

I have just caught up with this thread and would like to thank you all for making me smile and keeping me company as I dip in and out (I have to watch on catch-up a lot so reading all your comments helps me catch up on the goss).

They weren't on the same season of strictly but Fern did say some damming things about her dance partner. Are they friends perhaps ?

He'd had Kara and won then Holly Valance (millionaire bf, no fucks to give) then got Fern. She said he kicked and shoved her/manhandled her and "joked" she should lose weight. He said it was bollocks.

Artem went Stateside 2014 (his last partner was ringer Natalie Gumede). He's had his share of duffers on DWTS mind.
Nikita would have been 17 then. He went to Germany* a year later.
Not sure when their paths would have crossed.
*Think that's how he got the Strictly gig via Motsi. He was on Let's Dance.

I keep Blaming The Edit but I haven't felt I've got to know Nikita at all. And I'm the biggest Strictly stan. He's just there.

I'm surprised none of the housemates haven't asked him to teach them something. Unless they're more polite than me/see it as cheeky, double threats already or he's said nope, that's my day job.
I've seen the boys do loads of dancing/singing/routines that were mercifully cut short/edited out but nobody has asked him to do a ballroom hold or salsa or something. It would have been the first thing I requested, especially as it's supposed to be boring as in there!

Nikita and Bradley just like to dance and be silly. Neither like to get into any confrontation or have deep chats with anyone that isn't their mate in there.
BB knew exactly what they were doing casting all the younger guys thus year.
They wanted safe. And they also wanted mainly gay or bi male housemates as per ususal.
Nothing else to them. Bradley Is more immature. Both look at the camera a lot, very aware of what they look like.
