Yes and Phil has lost every task. DD has helped me stay on track with this - teams chopping and changing so much!

The Wikipedia page has a handy chart to keep track of wins and losses!

I can't believe Tre is 48! That's why he is so secure in himself, perhaps.

He looks and acts his age imo.

It shows they should take more mature candidates instead of just the obligatory one or two every year.

Lentilweaver · 22/03/2024 09:14

And Raj is 42!
Agree about more mature candidates.

RonSwansonsChair · 22/03/2024 09:21

What I really liked about Tre on last night's episode was that in the boardroom he stopped talking whenever Noor interrupted him and let her talk. Now, maybe he was giving her enough rope to hang herself.... but I like to think he was being respectful and professional. I hate when they all start shouting over each other.

GuttingHouse2024 · 22/03/2024 09:25

Tre was great (and Rachel too though I find her a little cold maybe). They listened to Noor and tried to offer their opinions without taking over or being rude. Noor on the other hand was rude, standoffish and stubborn to a fault. It was clear no one was to have a say on anything as she had her “vision”. Sadly she was clueless. The focus on an inside shopping market arcade venue (I’m still not clear what it was!) was bizarre given they were marketing a mobile shop! She also forgot their market was the sellers themselves ie people renting or using the van not the customers of them.

I couldn’t believe she didn’t do the pitch herself. I’m surprised more wasn't made of the boardroom. she was team leader and it was very much her vision but she refunded to stand up and justify and back her ideas in the pitch. Then to openly mock the others who were pitching making snide comments to Phil (eg when they mentioned the branding) honestl showed her immaturity and a mean streak.

I liked the audience member on Tom’s show that said the advert should have been people crowded around van then moving to next location etc. I’d have had a (short!) skit of document online saying they wished they could see the product in person then the van tearing around corner to them opening the door showing off their goods.

The idea Noor was promoting - an online business showing customers goods in person - was bizarre in itself. The online bit was an unnecessary complication. Either promote the van as a pop-up shop or promote it as a delivery vehicle.

Netball01 · 22/03/2024 15:27

Soo glad Noor has gone - she was terrible and I thought it was completely unforgivable that she tried to suggest Flo was being racist a few episodes back when she didn’t go with her idea. Funnily enough it all got deleted off insta pretty quickly so clearly had to climb down from that accusation quite quick !!

Noor is doing a video later to explain why she didn’t go on Your Fired.

I think Final 3 will be Tre, Rachel & Flo. What’s everyone else thinking ?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 22/03/2024 15:30

I think these are definitely the ones who should be in the last three.

Lentilweaver · 22/03/2024 15:31

I think Paul has some good qualities too. Very charming. He may edge ahead of Flo.

Acatdance · 22/03/2024 15:31

Tre, Rachel and Raj is my bet.

IGotItFromAgnes · 22/03/2024 15:56

I think it’s pretty much impossible to call the final three until we see the business plans.

Tre is great, but if his business plan is awful he won’t get through. It’s the one episode where getting through actually seems to be based on reality.

I agree with your last 3 - Tre, Flo and Rachel.

You're Fired just said Noor was unavailable, didn't they? I thought it was part of their contract to appear - If she does announce why, I'd love to know!

DahliaMacNamara · 22/03/2024 16:20

Oh, I love the interview episodes.

I knew Noor was toast the second Sugar told her she was going to be PM. I haven't had time to watch 'You're Fired' yet, so I didn't realise she wasn't on it. I'm curious to know why. It's often nice to see ex-candidates show a more human, less arrogant face. Perhaps they couldn't find one in Noor?

Rinoachicken · 22/03/2024 16:33

Pitching seems to be Flos only weak spot - if you can even call it that - both times she’s pitched she’s struggled getting her words out or made a misstep - it’s the only time she ever looks uncomfortable. She’s so strong everywhere else though that it is easily ignored

NeelyOHara1 · 22/03/2024 18:56

The camper van was the easier sell, it has to be said. I think it would have been better if both teams had to represent it. Anyone think they may be a romance brewing between Raj and Paul...?

clary · 22/03/2024 20:46

Isn't it the final five and then the two finalists?

A while ago I included Sam in the five but now I am saying
Tre, Flo, Rachel, Paul, Raj.

Finalists:
Tre and Flo.

Reminds me of my nephew went to uni and came out thinking he knew everything about everything

to be fair to him he is now on 60 k salary at age of 24 ( which he always mentions lol )and he says he wants to retire at 40 on 100 grand a year salary which he fully expects to be on

He sounds an ideal candidate for the Apprentice then.

I dont like Paul. There's something about him that doesn't sit well with me and I don't know what it is. Agree with previous posters that Rachel, Flo and Tre should be in the final, barring any cock ups.

Imagebrand · 22/03/2024 21:10

Am I the only one who feels really sorry for Noor? She wasn’t great but I just feel awful for her. It’s a mix of second hand embarrassment but also not enjoying people laughing at her expense. She should not have been put on the show

TitsInAbsentia · 22/03/2024 21:37

She absolutely shouldn't have been on the show. She has a website that sells rubbish (think sunglasses from the sunday market), and had reportedly ripped content directly off another website. Annoyingly I can't find anything on what her actual business plan was but these quotes from her (I realise they could have been edited) are so tone deaf.

Noor said 'I'm grateful to have met amazing people and to have shown just a small percentage of what an amazing businesswoman that I am. And even though the advert got a lot of criticism I still believe that it was really good.'

"My business is worthy of the investment because I will be able to generate a lot of money for Lord Sugar compared to other candidates," she said. "My brand is something new and it offers the best accessories around."

Debrathom · 22/03/2024 21:45

Surely it should have been Voltzwagen? 😂

Imagebrand · 22/03/2024 21:46

@TitsInAbsentia i kind of get the impression she’s saying that to overcompensate for the flack she’s been getting. She’s trying to sound confident and self assured but comes off as cocky or tone deaf. Insecurity perhaps

SwedishEdith · 22/03/2024 22:04

Noor was only 22, I think. Something very young and immature about her still and I can't believe that wasn't obvious when she was applying for the programme. Always seemed out of tune with the other contestants. She definitely shouldn't have been on it.

AnImaginaryCat · 23/03/2024 07:28

Noor just seems emotionally immature. The was she readily scoffed at other for thinking differently to her was very cocky teenager.

Imagebrand · 23/03/2024 07:31

Noor just seems like a budding social media influencer - but she hasn’t quite made it just yet. I’m not sure why they put her on the show
