I've noticed Jaz has been very effusive with Harry in the last few episodes - often first congratulating, greeting, and the like. Being very friendly and enthusiastic. IMO he wants to be seen as a harmless ally so he's kept to the end, then he can out him as the last traitor - not a bad tactic, in his position.

Harry is fully confident in Mollie, so will keep her to the end. But Mollie is having a tiny wobble over that, and I think she may actually trust Andrew more.

Evie is also seen as non-threatening, so they'll probably keep her, too. But she's on the fence over Harry, so no walkover

Then it just comes down to:
Wednesday night - Jaz or Zack murdered
Thursday - one banishment, probably Jasmine. One murder Jaz-or-Zack (last chance to get rid of a thorn) - unless someone else starts finger pointing and is seen as an immediate danger..
Final - Andrew, Harry, Mollie, Evie
This means Harry or Andrew will need to 'have suspicions' and force a vote to get the other out. Who will Mollie and Evie trust most? I actually think that could be Andrew.

tl:dr
More people have suspicions over Harry than Andrew. Barring a major mistake, Andrew could win.

I really like you4 analysis.

I think Andrew stands a chance in that scenario, we have seen that he can do some brazen and convincing bare face lying. His wordier defences aren't very convincing though, he needs to continue his emphatic wide eyed playing dumb thing and try not to go into Jasmine or Zack style analysis, he always makes me nervous when he starts talking too much

But prior to getting the shield, why was Harry "worried" about getting murdered?

It was because he'd stuck his head above the parapet by being a genius analyst who got Paul out - so had he been a Faithful, the Traitors would have wanted him out lest he suspected one of them next.

It's twisty as fuck but it's good gameplay.

MaggieFS · 24/01/2024 23:09

Ugh. I found that a bit frustrating and I think I've gone off it quite a bit. The faithful are being idiots and it's really annoying me now. OF COURSE Jasmine and Zack were defensive, they were being attacked. What do you expect them to do?

And than NO ONE at breakfast said "oh, Harry's got a shield, he could be a traitor".

Zack isn't smart, he flings a lot of shit and sometimes some of it sticks. His "evidence" why he thought Ross was a traitor all stemmed from a time when Ross was a faithful. Totally incorrect.
And Zack constantly talking and not letting people talking was annoying. Jasmine trying to edge away from him at breakfast was funny.

And unless she was double bluffing, Evie was throwing out baseless and bonkers names as well (I can't recall who she said). She's turning into a sheep when I'd given her more credit than that,

I said previously, I thought Paul seemed to be loving playing the part. Harry comes across unpleasantly. Tonight cemented that for me. (Yes, I know it's a game, but I don't like the language he uses).

I really, REALLY hope Jaz survives tonight and has actually been biding his time to go for Harry.

When Mollie watches it back, I hope she learns a few things.
I don't really care who wins now, I don't think it will be Andrew or Jaz. Harry deserves it from the point of view of playing the game, but I don't like the way he's going about it.

I've got the option on a pub trip on Friday. I think I'll probably take it up!

VWd · 24/01/2024 23:10

I think for Harry to succeed he is going to have to stand there with his closest friends though. He isn’t tough enough to be able to worm his way out of proper accusations. No one has ever fully gone for him at a round table yet. So putting out any threats before the final then playing the dumb little boy game is his only chance. I was really rooting for him early on and I don’t know if I still hold a grudge about the Diane thing too but I don’t actually want him to get it now

Theatrefan12 · 24/01/2024 23:11

Please someone, anyone, just get Zach out! Never has there been a more annoying individual in this game. He's like a wasp or something.

Maddie was worse imo

NCADHD · 24/01/2024 23:12

I definitely think Zach is smart, he and jasmine are both annoying but they're also the only ones who get their hypothesis and then actually map it all the way. Even if the starting point is wrong at least they're using deduction skills. I can't stand this "going on feeling" shite most of the others apply

crabbyoldbat · 24/01/2024 23:12

IF Harry moves early to banish Andrew rather than Jasmine tomorrow (and is successful), he's then stuck with either Jaz-or-Zack or Jasmine in the final. To be sure, Mollie, and possibly Evie, would call for her to be banished as a Traitor. Harry wins.

So it looks like Harry's best chance may be to get rid of Andrew ASAP - but if Andrew fights back at the round table, Harry has more suspicion and could go.

WoolyMammoth55 · 24/01/2024 23:13

@crabbyoldbat Agree with all you say except:
Thursday - one banishment, probably Jasmine. One murder Jaz-or-Zack (last chance to get rid of a thorn) - unless someone else starts finger pointing and is seen as an immediate danger..

There's no murder tomorrow, only a banishment, and 5 players go into the final. Claudia's said it a couple of times I think.

Exactly this. Poor Ross had no chance because of Zack’s domineering behaviour that played into Harry’s hands. I do hope Zack has been murdered because then Jaz has a chance of pulling off a spectacular win.

reflecting2023 · 24/01/2024 22:54

But Ross was so annoying talking traitor talk in the kitchen!

Ross knew he was gone at that point

Getting others suspicious of Harry would help him.

VWd · 24/01/2024 23:17

If you could go back to the start of the game and be Claudia… who do you think would have made the best traitors if you were to choose three?

I do think Harry would still be in mine. Ross would have definitely been better if he’d been one from day 1, he was on the back foot big time but did look guilty so probably would never have made a good one. I would of loved Diane to have been a traitor (or just to still be there at all) 😂 Jaz would have been a good one too, he’s very switched on and could have played a few mind games I think. I also think they missed a trick not picking Aubrey for sheer entertainment value but maybe too obvious

Theatrefan12 · 24/01/2024 23:18

They all think there is only one traitor left don’t they?

So if Harry and Andrew were smart (which is debatable) they should turn on each other tomorrow during the day and drop hints to others, and if one of them gets banished they can play it as “we have got them all as that’s 5 traitors” and steer everyone to think that the final is a traitor free zone

Stowickthevast · 24/01/2024 23:18

@ParsnipAndPoppy there's generally 5 left at the end (in every English speaking series so far). Claudia will probably tell them after the banishment tomorrow that they are in the final 5 and there won't be a murder.

Possible spoilers - don't read if you don't want to know the final process

Then in the last show there's a task and a banishment. They then get taken outside to a fire pit and get asked to choose to continue playing - if they think there's a traitor left - or choose to share the money. If just one person wants to continue, they all have to vote again.
That's why it makes sense for Harry to take at least one traitor with him to the final. Then he can throw Andrew to the Faithful and they'll think they've got the last traitor.

Rightsraptor · 24/01/2024 23:18

This might have been raised before, but is Harry calling the Faithful 'fateful'?

I know he might have the London thing of pronouncing TH as F, but I don't think it's that.

Yes and I now read faithful as fateful, I can’t stop it 😂

ignore me I'm going to bed now as too tired to think! :)

LindorDoubleChoc · 24/01/2024 23:20

I thought it was a great episode tonight. Ross making a hash-up of things was very entertaining. And the challenge actually seemed like a challenge for once.

Andrew was trying to forge an alliance with Ross when he said Harry was being elusive, wasn't he?

Newgirls · 24/01/2024 23:21

I guess they will murder lovely jaz as the others are more useful to them. But hopefully not!

crabbyoldbat · 24/01/2024 23:22

IGotItFromAgnes · 24/01/2024 23:05

Didn’t Mollie say she had suspicions about Andrew in the confessional chair tonight?

Did she? I must have zoned out

I didn’t hear that being announced - was that on today’s show?

Mmm not sure about the no banishment as it’s still letting you pick who will be banished next on the predictor game on the bbc website

Although the website could be a traitor I suppose…

MaggieFS · 24/01/2024 23:23

A couple of random comments:

-Ross was wearing the same specs on Uncloaked, so presumably they are his actual specs and not just ones to hide his resemblance to Diane as previously mooted

-I really hope Jasmine has a better sports bra for when she's playing rugby!

WoolyMammoth55 · 24/01/2024 23:23

Oops sorry for changing the post after you quoted me. Karmic revenge for calling Andrew dumb - I'm even dumber! :)

There is totally a banishment tomorrow just no murder xx
