DH has just asked ‘is that thing with those cunts in the castle on again tonight?’

Tell your DH thanks for the laugh 🤣

I don't need Ross to win, I just need him to take down Harry in a blaze of revenge glory. Then I need Jaz to win. Then I can die happy.

Agree, Jaz is the only one with a clue.

MeinKraft · 19/01/2024 23:52

DietrichandDiMaggio · 19/01/2024 22:55

Surely nobody actually wants Ross to win, because he's done nothing so far to deserve it.
Also, it doesn't seem fair that Harry should be targeted for revenge over Diane's murder, because whilst Ross doesn't exactly have an advantage because of their secret, the traitors wouldn't have recruited him, had they known about him and Diane.
Presuming everyone else is honest about who they are, only Ross and Diane have been dishonest all the way through.

I don't think he would have been targeted for revenge actually had he explained his reasons more respectfully.

MadCatLady27 · 19/01/2024 23:54

The only way Ross may be able to get Harry under the bus (not that I want him to) is wait for Harry to say he had the shield so they must have tried to murder him, then pipe up that they tried to recruit him and he said no. That way one of them will clearly be lying as you can't have both murder and recruitment

However it's very risky as it'll come down to whoever they believe most

MadCatLady27 · 19/01/2024 23:56

I want both Harry and Jaz to win, which is another reason I wanted them to recruit Jaz

Turkeyhen · 19/01/2024 23:58

Harry has suspicion on him from several of the others (Jazatha, Evie, Zach): it wouldn’t take that much effort for Ross (possibly in alliance with Andrew) to stoke those fires and take Harry down next.

MotherofGorgons · 19/01/2024 23:59

I wish we had an Amanda this year. Or that Miles had lasted longer.

Misogynist cunts in a castle is about right.

Claudiawhatsherface · 19/01/2024 22:51

Claudia calling the guys out for being old school patriarchy best thing I’ve seen for a while

I loved that I think it's going to be my favourite line from the entire series!!

Stowickthevast · 19/01/2024 22:04

I'm glad the Diana Ross story line may finally have legs.

But loved Claude's comment more. Enough of straight white men controlling the narrative!

Wow did she actually say that?

commonground · 20/01/2024 00:07

I mean, I agree it is v male centric, but Claudia chose the Traitors in the first place (I read it is her choice), so she could have (should have) chosen three women.

MotherofGorgons · 20/01/2024 00:13

The women this year are pretty useless, I have to admit.

notjaneausten · 20/01/2024 00:15

Does anybody else think Ross has got very weird style glasses?

When she went to the Traitors. And with a smile as well ☺️

AmyandPhilipfan · 20/01/2024 00:22

Yes, they seem quite feminine and old fashioned. I did wonder whether they might be his mum's!

I loved Claudia's comment. And for all their bluster that it's 'tactical' the truth is they've (apart from on the first night) only murdered women and only chosen other men to join them.

Why "should have"? Part of the reason this series has been so entertaining is because Paul and Harry have been so dang good in their roles as traitors.

Meanwhile, some of the women have been so anonymous and pointless that the only time you've really noticed them there is when they've been murdered or banished.

No doubt the BBC will urgently add some ridiculous new rule that there HAS to be one female traitor in the game at all time for diversity's sake from series 3 onwards, and cock the whole thing up...

I’d assumed it was to try and hide that his eyes are basically identical to Diane’s - they’re both very distinctive

nunsflipflop · 20/01/2024 00:31

Harry might just have signed his own death warrant now. Ross is out for revenge. Harry won’t suss it because he’s too far up his own arse. Ross will enlist Andrew and that will be the end of Harry!

I mean that Claudia dissed the traitors for recruiting another bloke and said it was like the olden days. But she herself chose men - so why not make it not like the olden days and choose women?

I didn't think Jasmine or Kyra or Sonja or Diane or Charlotte or Charlie or Evie were/are anonymous and pointless. What if they had been given the chance to be Traitors? Or not been bumped off early. They might have been awesome.

(I didn't even know there was a Brian, for eg until he unravelled at the table)

IGotItFromAgnes · 20/01/2024 00:37

She chose 3 traitors so there was always going to be an uneven split one way or the other. And I think the original split for the traitors in season 1 was 2 women, 1 man wasn’t it, so 2 men 1 woman possibly seemed fair this time.

It may have been her final choice, but I suspect that there was considerable discussion to start with by the production team (and I think there is at least one psychologist), and a short list drawn up.
