Now fully at Live TV pace.

Will it be a traitor in the kitchen with a poisoned chalice?

I'm a few episodes behind. I don't know if it's my telly, but why is Claudia yellow? Nobody else is yellow!

Turkeyhen · 14/01/2024 21:43

@Lowin2024 you should apply for the next series, that is a clever strategy

ParsnipAndPoppy · 14/01/2024 21:45

Lowin2024 · 14/01/2024 21:33

Some of them really do seem lost as to where to start working things out! A good strategy would be to reflect on who Ash voted for the first few times (I can’t remember who that was now!). They now know Ash was a traitor, and it’s pretty much a guarantee that her first few votes would have been for faithfuls (as traitors wouldn’t turn on each other so early in the game). So that would give them some pretty solid information to go on and they could effectively eliminate those people from their suspicions.

Good suggestion I hadn’t thought of that

Lots of people have said it’s her trademark look, I think it’s too much but millions don’t!

It’s her thing. Yellow woman with a fringe a lots of eye liner.
Like the woman from the Muppets band, but with dark hair.

It's literally yellow, though! I had to Google before I posted to check she didn't have liver disease or something!

There's a separate thread going about Claudia being orange 😃

That is a good strategy.

But let's face it, Meryl came out as a winner in Season 1 despite not having a fucking clue for the entire series 😆

AnImaginaryCat · 14/01/2024 21:58

It is a good strategy. Only thing is you would be unlikely to recall who voted for who as during those round tables you don't know to focus on and commit their votes to memory. Certainly not at the early stages - way too many people.

lljkk · 14/01/2024 22:10

omg, 2 sets of traitors would be a total mind fuck to the players; I am so up for watching that Grin

PJPatrol · 14/01/2024 22:12

But If there were two sets of traitors and neither set knew who was in the other traitors group, how would thsr work with the murders? It would have to be possible to murder another traitor I suppose (one that is on the other team)

Or run with the fiction that there are an undisclosed number of shields every day, and they just happen to coincidentally go to the other traitors - don’t really have shields as they’re boring anyway, but if one traitor tries to murder another then just say they had a shield

ParsnipAndPoppy · 14/01/2024 22:20

agree two sets of traitors couldn’t work esp as so many faithfuls have been voted out. I also don’t think any new traitors will be inducted at this stage for the same reason.

IGotItFromAgnes · 14/01/2024 22:22

I think there might be another traitor inducted if one or two are banished next week - they seem to like to have three of them until about 75% of the way through

Turkeyhen · 14/01/2024 22:23

The people who Ash (for example) voted for at the banishment would remember though so it wouldn’t be difficult to work out in retrospect

AnImaginaryCat · 14/01/2024 22:36

Yeah, on the night a traitor was banished maybe - si in this case you could assume (who the hrck is) Evie

However what if she'd voted for Paul (which she really should have done).

Turkeyhen · 14/01/2024 22:43

@AnImaginaryCat certainly not foolproof but early in the game traitors aren’t that likely to vote for each other so it could be a way to identify some of the likely faithfuls and avoid herd mentality banishments on flimsy grounds

Didn’t one of the Faithfuls in season 1 keep a list of this sort of thing, that they updated each night? Or have I just made that up?

PerfectYear321 · 14/01/2024 23:26

I feel so bad. I stereotyped Jaz (male) from the start. I thought he'd be like the guys we see on the Apprentice who are over-confident, superficial/vain and deludedly think they're the bee's knees etc, but he's not like that at all! He's been quiet, is the only one that's alert to Paul, and his story about his dad was heartbreaking, honest and raw! 😭

This is why I love this show, because it's such a lesson in human social interaction

PerfectYear321 · 15/01/2024 00:00

Watching this programme makes me wonder about the fact that we use jurys of everyday people to convict people.

Choux · 15/01/2024 02:42

Ash voted for Sonja, Diane and Evie before being banished. Neither Diane or Evie are currently under suspicion so perhaps the faithful have worked out that Ash would likely have voted for faithfuls.

kenyaswhiterefrigerator · 15/01/2024 04:23

@QueenOfThorns

Fay from series one kept a list of who everyone voted for. She was killed shortly after revealing it though

TheOriginalFrench · 15/01/2024 06:27

@Lowin2024 that is exactly what they should be doing! It’s true most of them just seem lost - not applying any critical thought at all.
