I'm pretty sure they did have to swear the Oath last year too. They're not allowed to be explicit about who the other Traitors are, but there's nothing stopping them alluding to it or planting a seed of suspicion with others.

Thanks. I must have just forgotten. I knew they could allude to it but that guy all but said Wilf is a traitor.

Bluetrews25 · 04/01/2024 14:40

Oh dear @Gooseysgirl how annoying for you!
I feel a teaching opportunity on 'spoiling surprises for other people' coming up 😂
Reminds me of when one of the later Harry Potter books was released. I was reading it, so was my DCs friend at primary school. He had got a bit further ahead than me. When he found out I was reading it too gleefully told me 'Dumbledore dies'. Thanks, kiddo. Not forgotten, even though it must be about 20 years ago now.

Ooh, just finished the first episode, ready for tonight - I love it!!

I wonder whether 'the big Welsh guy' might be the other Traitor?

I can't bear Diane, or Sonja or the women with the black hair and red lipstick, but we'll see!

It seems to feel much more tetchy, like they could really fall out...

TokyoSushi · 04/01/2024 14:58

How often is it on? Not every night? (At work so can't check!)

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for 4 weeks.

Loved Claudia’s blazer too.

OMG, one of the guys that tied them up totally looked like a serial killer 😂

if anyone likes listening to podcasts, there’s one called Off Menu, where people choose their dream menu and Claudia’s episode is fantastic, she’s super likeable and hilarious.

One and Shrine podcast are covering the show, they’re absolute hilarious, their Line of Duty recaps were the perfect companion to the show.

How securely were they tied? How could they have got out of it if Mollie hadn't been able to slip loose like that? Or was that always the idea?

dapsnotplimsolls · 04/01/2024 17:42

I wonder if some were tied tighter than others? I really need to learn their names. I also peeped ahead to see who joined and who was banished but didn't go beyond that 😁

Watervolt · 04/01/2024 17:54

I think she mustn't have been tied tightly by design - to see if she'd go for the shield or be a team player and help the others first. Without her, I don't see how they'd have broken free in good time.

Also, what kind of psycho cheerfully describes themselves as "cruel"? 🙄 Something about Harry is also giving me PTSD flashbacks from Sam off AUS S2. Hope I'm wrong.

Not feeling anyone yet except maybe Diane. Looking forward to seeing how it all unravels!

I’d suspect they deliberately tied some tighter than others to gauge who would help other people and who would be out for themselves.

Riverlee · 04/01/2024 20:09

@2023usernameNew Thank you. A bit out of my price range…

dapsnotplimsolls · 04/01/2024 21:05

I wish they'd asked him who he thought the traitors were.

Ohwhatfuckeryitistoride · 04/01/2024 21:07

Evening. Was on iplayer but watching live. Please let it be Sonya, who obviously thinks she’s the next Miss Marple.
oh Portishead, nice and atmospheric.

Jellykat · 04/01/2024 21:08

Who was the clairvoyant ? i've forgotten already

dapsnotplimsolls · 04/01/2024 21:09

I don't remember the first woman to breakfast at all!

Bluetrews25 · 04/01/2024 21:09

Shouldn't the clairvoyant know who was murdered?
Or did she not see it coming?

Bluetrews25 · 04/01/2024 21:09

Jellykat · 04/01/2024 21:08

First woman in, the blonde

littlbrowndog · 04/01/2024 21:09

Is the clairvoyant the blonde in the cardi ?
