Stop helping your favourites Marcus. Old Bee Throat can cope without your hints.

I don’t think anyone has has asparagus with plantain purée before Mon, because quite frankly , why would you?

Halsall · 27/11/2023 20:45

So bee-neck tattoo man is making mushroom soup and cheese on toast?

Not sure about Philippe playing the 'people in my country often can’t afford meat or fish' card, then cooking asparagus.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 27/11/2023 20:45

Fucking plant based, pushing all the fresh gf stuff out of supermarkets.

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 27/11/2023 20:46

One of my brothers is plant based.
Harsh.

GrouchyKiwi · 27/11/2023 20:46

Lauren having a "plant-based brother" sounds like her parents adopted one of the Cabbage Patch Kids.

fourquenelles · 27/11/2023 20:46

I love eating the cubes of jelly you get before they are dissolved in water. Haven't done that for years.

TheDogsMother · 27/11/2023 20:47

Why is it called plant based these days ? It's vegetarian right ?

viques · 27/11/2023 20:47

Blueberrycreampie · 27/11/2023 20:43

Can I join? Trifle has to have jelly. Don't like jelly in anything else though and you said members had to love jelly.

how do you feel about Gregggg. Think carefully about your answer, VIP membership of JITSA depends on it.

Jelly in NZ comes in crystal form (before you add water). There are delicious biscuits and slices that use jelly crystals on top as extra decoration & flavouring.

CurlewKate · 27/11/2023 20:47

Your brother is not plant based-he's made of meat....

😂

I have two gluten free family members. The rest of us are just full of wheaty goodness 🤷🏻‍♀️

ilovesooty · 27/11/2023 20:48

I don't think cheese toasties a la nan is going to cut it.

fourquenelles · 27/11/2023 20:48

Bee man has gone I predict

Yes Fourq and it was great for growing strong nails. Wasn't it Chivers Jelly ?

GrouchyKiwi · 27/11/2023 20:48

We can but hope fourq.

It used to be 'vegan' but then 'vegan' was declared a belief that extended to more than food (like clothes and lifestyle) and 'proper vegans' became a bit militant over it and so it's now 'plant-based'

Blueberrycreampie · 27/11/2023 20:49

Gregg is an annoying toad, and I am sorry he even lives in the same county as me - about 7 miles away!

Not sure about Philippe playing the 'people in my country often can’t afford meat or fish' card, then cooking asparagus.

I've just googled Benin + Asparagus, and there is something called the 'Benin Asparagus Market Report' which is surprisingly expensive to buy.

motherofgodhaudyerwheesht · 27/11/2023 20:49

lol at cheese and truffle toastie. Bye! (But I would eat it in fairness. )

Bet your nails are in great condition!

Sunbird24 · 27/11/2023 20:50

Well I wouldn’t be eating the mushroom soup so I guess I’d have to make do with the toastie despite the vegan cheese

motherofgodhaudyerwheesht · 27/11/2023 20:50

Chivers .... and Rowntree.

viques · 27/11/2023 20:51

I don’t think my Nan would have wanted truffle in her cheese toasty. “ what are these black bits Viques, is it burnt?”

littlbrowndog · 27/11/2023 20:51

Bee man a goner
