I'm not sure it'll reach the heights of the BBC ALW shows (I loved those!), but I'm going to give it a go.

Indeed. Did you see Leah's face when Esme's name was called?!? It should have been her name instead.

I disagree that Leah should have been bottom two, I thought she had one of the stronger performances tonight. I’d have picked Maisie and Stephanie as the bottom two. I’m not really sure why they did the whole bottom two thing, though, just read out who leaves as there’s no sing-off.

Callum was the obvious Sky to go but none of the men set me on fire, so to speak.

I actually think they should cast Skye as one of the women and just make it a lesbian relationship.

I thought Leah was good tonight in the song at the tables

The intro song and dance routine (to Take a Chance on Me) was the bit I saw being filmed in Corfu in May! Very interesting to see it on the show!

Callum was a good actor and I thought he and Stephanie had great chemistry, but his singing was truly awful. No way could he play the part.

Disappointed for Maisie, as she was fantastic last week.

Desmonda and Tobias were delightful, and her voice is so lovely.

Leah and Zachkiel struggled in the workshop with zero chemistry, but their song was the one I had to rewind and watch again.

Less impressed with Stevie and Owen in the final performance, but they had great chemistry in the workshop.

Esme seems terribly nervous still.

Leah did a great job in the table scene but she doesn’t have the energy/silliness of Sophie? I can see her in many other musicals though eg Six

maisie surely should go to drama school and get that training and confidence

Leah is really good. I agree she's not a Sophie but hopefully she will have been 'seen' and will get chances in other shows now. Esme's voice sounded a bit constricted as if the nerves had got to her, but I still like her. Hopefully she will be back on form next week. She'd be a great principal boy in a panto!

Yes or Esme would be great in Heathers as she looks so perfect.

One of the people still left in seems to be having quite a decent musical theatre career at the moment, so I’m assuming they go out fairly soon!

Do you think they are trying to get a different Sky or Sophie, as most of the candidates aren’t conventional Sophie’s/Skyes? Ie. Tall, black, brunette, plus size etc, plus they have ones with the look you’d expect.

I don't think they need any particular look just because there was a movie version. Sophie does need to look plausibly the DD of all three of the potential dads and Donna, but Sky could be anything.

Yes Sky is good chance to get more diversity in the cast
