I’ve been on catch up. As was unable to watch the first few episodes. But am currently catching up. Please feel free to share any opinions, goss and updates here!!

I think Arthur is not into staying in the relationship as he talked about making plans on his own and was quite rude to Laura's friends with no thought for the consequences.

But like he said, were they really expecting him to live with Laura as soon as they left the show? They'd only known each other a few weeks.

Laura's friends were horrible to Arthur.

Peggy should give Georges a break, it's like she wants to be his sole focus in life.

I do really like Laura but there's no way she's as posh as it's been made out.

She attended Itchen 6th form college in Southampton and it is neither posh or full of rich kids. It's not located in an aspirational area and I'd arguably say Arthur is the posher of the two coming from Stevenage.

Didn't Laura go to private school? How do you know which sixth form she went to?

it is on her LinkedIn. Definitely not a private school. In a previous life I was a 6th form teacher and know the 6th form colleges of Southampton well.

Laura's friends look a lot younger than her and are incredibly rude. They seem to think they are on Made in Chelsea. I think they look like they are in their 20s and Laura is 34 - I know you shouldn't settle and everyone should have their standards but if Laura does want to get married and have kids she needs to be a bit more realistic in her expectations of a future partner, and so do her friends. I couldn't believe them talking to Arthur like he is beneath all of them!
I think Arthur's great!

He was saying when the show was over he was moving back into his parents house in Stevenage so assumed that he grew up in Hertfordshire which is a lot posher than the area around Itchen college in Southampton.

I'm beginning to suspect the whole Laura thinks she's above Arthur is a bit of producer led storyline.

Someone who went to Itchen college would have grown up around very normal people and I'd be very surprised if they had a superior attitude.

It would still have been a state school. Things don’t change that much. Her friends were intolerably rude, I really don’t understand why she didn’t put them back in their box.

I looked Laura up on linkedin too. She also went to Plymouth University which isn't exactly known as one of the posh universities..... Not that I want to sound snobby like her and her ghastly friends. They were super rude.

It makes me realise that not many of the women on MAFS this year have been very likeable. Peggy, Laura, Erica, Tasha, Porscha....

Which reminded me of another thing re the home stays. Thomas sounds very posh but his Mum and his house are just perfectly normal. So what goes on there? Maybe he did go to private school... or he had a rich Dad who split from his Mum?

Also just looked up Georges on LinkedIn and he has had serious professional career in sport rehabilitation. He's not a silly content creator.

@Bouledeneige I think at the start Thomas said he grew up in Indonesia so I assume he went to an International private school .

Oddly of them all, Georgess seems to be the poshest. He grew up in Romsey and went to boarding school.

@kenyaswhiterefrigerator right about Itchen reputation. DS went to one about 5 miles away from it.

Nephew went to Plymouth uni and I went to a uni in Plymouth but not that one. Perfectly nice uni but it's not Russell Group.

I think you can tell that Laura is not super posh but wears expensive clothes. I would like to have seen where she lives - was it not shown because it didn't fit with the 'Chelsea' image?
