“My Mum, Your Dad is a British dating reality show that is set to begin airing on ITV1 on 11 September 2023. It will be presented by Davina McCall and follows middle-aged single parents heading to a romance retreat for a second chance at love which is overseen by their children.”

From a Google for the show it appears there is already 1 season of the US called My Mom, Your Dad. So presumably the same format.

Anyone planning to watch?

Is this the show that was billed in the media as an upcoming middle aged Love Island earlier this year?

How can either of these two women think they've made any connection with Martin M. He hasn't asked them anything about themselves. I also think Tolulah just wants to beat Monique.

Oh Lordy me.. Roger is finally ready for his first kiss!!! 🫣 Monique - sorry to say it but you deserve each other. Martin H is an amazing man and will come out of this looking very genuine and hopefully more confident he can find someone special.

Roger did not look impressed when Monique was getting it on with Martin Knobhead.

Just wanted to say how impressed I am with the young people! So kind, emotionally intelligent and caring of their parents, the other participants and each other. Gives me hope for the future. I thought at first it was a bit of a gimmick, but they've just all been so lovely.

Is it just me or did we not get to see Elliott’s stone?! Maybe I just blanked for a moment but I remember seeing everyone else’s but not his?! Actually I feel like he’s not getting enough screen time in general!

I have to say I see why Tollulah is a bit gobsmacked at Martin M’s decision. She did know he had two potential interests but I agree he definitely seemed to initially hit it off better with her to me and up until she went out on the date with Martin H I totally thought he was going to go for her over Monique. I think Monique made it really clear though that she’s really into him so maybe it was the intensity of that laser focus on hers on him that made him change his mind?

It did make me laugh when Tolullah’s daughter was like “oh I feel scared for him (Martin M) having that conversation”. And that’s before Tollulah told Martin H that she was more interested in Martin M! Why did she have that conversation right then argh! And why didn’t Martin M say something before they all had an evening together, he’d clearly made his decision earlier in the day and he really screwed over her other potential connection there. I’d be fuming if I was her!
