As Big Brother is set to return, what are your stand-out memories?

The 'civilian' version was my favourite telly show ever, especially the early series before the invasion of the wannabes. Not so keen on the celeb versions; those people are always 'on'. Loved the first season when it was all raw. Sada doing her goddess chant every bedtime. The chickens. Nichola naked body painting the wall. Nasty Nick's downfall.

My favourite contestant was Science in BB6, and he was in my favourite task - the box task. 'Shut up' 'No you shut up'.

Maxwell being evicted when he totally thought it would be Science.
Big-head Sezer visibly shocked that he was evicted.
Grace getting the boot and chucking water over Susie she was so mad.
Kathreya [Happy House!] getting chucked out in her dressing gown to no crowd.

I only watched the very early ones but I particularly remember the weeing in the shower row for some reason! And ‘East Angular’

'Jaaasun has been moisturising in the snug for 15 hours'. He was in the 'Fight Night' one (series 5?) with Victor as his sidekick. He (Jason) got done for SA years later.

So much of series 6! Makosi's instantly detectable pregnancy. Craig pining after Anthony and he was completely oblivious to it. The speed dating task and the, ahem, effects of Roberto's seduction on Kemal, even though the pair of them really didn't get along.

My mini claim to fame is that I once sold a mobile phone to Marco from series 5.

Oh god, yes the wine bottle and Anthony's face while he watched it. Anyone remember the fight and people watching at home calling the police? In the celeb bb the best moment ever was David's dead.

For some reason, I have a very vivid memory of Brian Belo talking to one of the other housemates about chilli and spag bol and how he thought they were made using different meat. His face was a picture when he found out they were both made from mince meat. Such a ridiculous memory to have and it often pops into my head when I'm cooking either of the mentioned meals 🤣 God knows why my brain chose to retain that!!

The early series were whilst I was growing up in high school, so I have such fond memories of getting together with my friends and watching it and talking about it in school the next day.

My favourite person to ever go in was Lauren Harries. Absolutely hilarious. Totally detached from reality the whole time she was in there, then the comedy falls and tipping cups of tea over her shoulder was just 10/10.

Another firm favourite Gary Busey (maybe incorrectly spelt) he was just completely bizarre to watch!

A really random bit that I still think of often is Alex shouting at Sandy as he tried to climb out in Season 3, "be careful Sandy!" in a really high pitched voice. Whenever I say "be careful" I hear it in my head and smile to myself though obviously can never make the joke out loud as no one else would get it!

Rylan's reaction was brilliant, absolute gold.

Me and DH were obsessed with BB2. We still quote it now.

I can remember someone repeatedly saying showbiz on the way into the house and then he was voted out minutes after they entered the house. That was good.

Big brother was amazing and fascinating back before it became full of influencers and z list celebrities who all morph into each other.

Oh and I met PJ and Spencer in a hotel in the middle of nowhere in Scotland. They’d not long finished the series so were staying out of the limelight for a bit.
Unfortunately for them, they had a BB fan staying there too and had to put up with me bugging them.
They were lovely though and I played pool with PJ who was rather gorgeous in the flesh.

‘David’s dead’ is still one of the funniest things ever seen on telly 😁
