As Big Brother is set to return, what are your stand-out memories?

The 'civilian' version was my favourite telly show ever, especially the early series before the invasion of the wannabes. Not so keen on the celeb versions; those people are always 'on'. Loved the first season when it was all raw. Sada doing her goddess chant every bedtime. The chickens. Nichola naked body painting the wall. Nasty Nick's downfall.

My favourite contestant was Science in BB6, and he was in my favourite task - the box task. 'Shut up' 'No you shut up'.

Top evictions:
Maxwell being evicted when he totally thought it would be Science.
Big-head Sezer visibly shocked that he was evicted.
Grace getting the boot and chucking water over Susie she was so mad.
Kathreya [Happy House!] getting chucked out in her dressing gown to no crowd.

Was the first celebrity version for charity- I seem to remember it being for Comic Relief or something similar? With Jack Dee climbing out across the roof to escape. Mark Owen being just lovely and winning(pre-Take That reunion ).
Didn’t Leo Sayer also try to leave in a rage?
Brigitte Neilson being presented with her ex MIL, Jackie Stallone. Vanessa Feltz and her epic scrawled rant on the table about incarceration. Pete Burns being caustic and hilarious in his wild fur coat. And didn’t they send Jimmy Savile in once as a guest housemate? Ugh. Maybe when Chantelle and Preston were in there. When she had to persuade people she was a bona fide girl group singer!

I remember the live stream overnight - just putting the channel on and the weird night vision of just people snoozing.

I found it weirdly comforting though.

Does anyone remember Mickey the blind guy being hit with the cricket ball. I think he was swimming at the time possibly.

The first few series were so good and entertaining, and memorable. It went to shit eventually though as it was just a house full of people who expected to be a listers when they left the house.

I couldn’t stand Kate Lawler , I never understood why she won. I remember her playing spin the bottle, wouldn’t remove any items of clothing but encouraged Jade Goody to strip until she naked knowing she was drunk so was easily lead. Thought it was a shitty thing to do.

I remember the live stream and being able to switch rooms, if there was a late night argument viewers were able to follow it through the rooms. Others nights the cameras would just focus on a foot for hours while the housemates were asleep.
