As Big Brother is set to return, what are your stand-out memories?

The 'civilian' version was my favourite telly show ever, especially the early series before the invasion of the wannabes. Not so keen on the celeb versions; those people are always 'on'. Loved the first season when it was all raw. Sada doing her goddess chant every bedtime. The chickens. Nichola naked body painting the wall. Nasty Nick's downfall.

My favourite contestant was Science in BB6, and he was in my favourite task - the box task. 'Shut up' 'No you shut up'.

Top evictions:
Maxwell being evicted when he totally thought it would be Science.
Big-head Sezer visibly shocked that he was evicted.
Grace getting the boot and chucking water over Susie she was so mad.
Kathreya [Happy House!] getting chucked out in her dressing gown to no crowd.

I had a dance workout with Helen VHS back in the day and I used to actually do it in my halls of residence.

Just remembered I met one of the contestants in a bar. I recognised him and shouted him over

cannot recall at all who it was though!

The first one was gold! I was pregnant with first DC at the time. Happy memories. We were all so outraged by Nasty Nick!

Jade Goody came to Chicago rock when I was at uni, a group of us organised it on a spend at the bar type basis. This was pre CBB.
We made a fortune, she was in her party phase as we all were and it was fab.

David is Dead is definitely a classic! Why did Angie think Tiffany was the best person to share that news with anyway! Although I guess she may have been in shock and wanting to talk to anyone. I did love Tiffany.

Also I found Frenchie hilarious too! The scene where she'd got annoyed with housemates staying up all night so she got revenge by jumping on the beds singing in the middle of the night!

Helen is the contestant who is most memorable to me, the early ones were so much more interesting than the later ones.

Oh I love you for posting this 👏. This was my all time favourite series and I loved Nadia ( 1st time I ever voted), hated Jason - and by extension Vanessa and Victor, but loved Shell, Dan and was indifferent to Stu , Michelle, Emma et al.

However, watching it back 😱🫣😳😖😬. Yikes 🤣.

I remember Nadia being very popular at the time but watching that now I can see Nadia and Marco were such irritating wind up merchants.

I'd never seen "David is dead" but it was worth the search on YouTube.

Wasn't there also a CBB series where George Galloway wore a unitard and drank milk from a saucer, purring like a cat while Germaine Greer petted him?
