As Big Brother is set to return, what are your stand-out memories?

The 'civilian' version was my favourite telly show ever, especially the early series before the invasion of the wannabes. Not so keen on the celeb versions; those people are always 'on'. Loved the first season when it was all raw. Sada doing her goddess chant every bedtime. The chickens. Nichola naked body painting the wall. Nasty Nick's downfall.

My favourite contestant was Science in BB6, and he was in my favourite task - the box task. 'Shut up' 'No you shut up'.

Top evictions:
Maxwell being evicted when he totally thought it would be Science.
Big-head Sezer visibly shocked that he was evicted.
Grace getting the boot and chucking water over Susie she was so mad.
Kathreya [Happy House!] getting chucked out in her dressing gown to no crowd.

Who was the girl who was obsessed with posh spice? She dressed like her and had the same hair cut. The "pob".

Chantelle - 'I cant believe my boyfriend is a pop-star' when she was sort of with Ziggy (who treated her abominably!)

She's been treated badly by most blokes since.
I watched the first series and enjoyed it..missed the 2nd.
Loved the third series and did like and want Kate to win.(we all had a guess who would and I said her almost from the start so was very big headed when she did)
I remember fight night but I think I stopped around this point because the characters just became more fake and fame hungry and mostly bloody weird IMO.
In one series there was a blonde hippy chick who did naked lawn mowing or something! Who was that?

I remember the naked mowing! Think she was called Shell?

Oh I'd forgotten Daniel from the series that had Shell, Victor, Kitten et al. He was lovely!

Loving all these memories! I loved all of the earlier series but I do remember poor Mikey eating a Scotch Bonnet chilli in BB9! His face! I honestly thought he would collapse.

There were some quite unlikeable characters in that series, wasn't there a woman who only lasted a week or 2 who introduced herself as Belinda, Belinda, Belinda?

Yes this is my no. 1 memory.

1. Melanie Hill (?) plucking her bikini line in Series 1.

1. The blind lad eating a scotch bonnet chilli. It was revolting to watch but totally compelling.

1. The electric shock task. I swear I was in pain from laughing.

1. Poor Jade Goody and her "kebab" and we still refer to "East Angular".

1. The bloke who kept saying "fuck abaht" which is also in common use in this house now.

1. Alison Hammond breaking the picnic table.

1. Finally, "I like blinking, me" (Welsh, Helen?)

The very first BB in 2000 used Mel's eye on its opening sequence after a few weeks I think !

Brian Dowling was cabin crew, I think for Ryanair, when he joined BB2. Can't remember a Bryan, but Kitten was in BB5, so two different people most likely.

Remember the season when Marcus was obsessed with Noirin and Freddie was relentlessly bullied by Bea? And Freddie had to change his name to Halfwit or something.

Brian Dowling was Ryanair cabin crew before joining the BB house.

The Bryan from S5 is actually Daniel isn't it? His surname might've been Bryan.

BB5, 6 and 7 were the "golden era" IMO
