So. just as there are Jesus + 13 disciples in The Last Supper, there in Carrie + 13 characters in the promotional shot. Carrie is Jesus-like in the middle. "Judas" (as positioned as per the Da Vinci painting) would be Nya. That doesn't make much sense, as she has barely any connection with Carrie. Unless she shags Aiden, which feel unlikely. @Ridemeginger I agree, Nya doesn’t fit the profile! Also I don’t think the writers/producers have been clever enough to drop Easter eggs cryptic style. They can’t even remember how old the kids are or where Steve’s bar is!

@tribpot , the 'missing' scenes are really irritating me. Carrie's first meeting with Aiden's boys would have been ripe for some really awkward comedy drama but, just as when Miranda ran off to join Che, it all happened off screen. Annoying.

Loved that jump suit. Loved Tony obvs.

Hated Charlottes pouty sleeve dress. Loved the pink jumpsuit even with the ‘curtain tie backs from a fancy hotel’ belt. And her necklace with hergreen outfit which someone online called a Carrie-biner! I’d love one of those.
I had a weird moment watching Mrs Hoffman at Herbert’s event, as she spat out the food. I could picture her as a younger woman. Checked the credits-she’s the mum from Uncle Buck!

Ooh now I loved Charlotte’s ridiculous dress. I have a similar one 😂 So when I think about it, I have a pet portrait of my dog dressed as a general and I definitely would have been condom hunting for DD…. So I probably need to get back to corporate life 😂😂😂

Miranda is a complete hypocrite with a short memory- getting it on in Carrie’s kitchen but huffing and puffing about Nya’s new partner. Couldn’t she just be happy for her?

Not to white knight for Miranda 2.0 but I thought the issue was that she needed to use the bathroom and it’s in Nya’s room?

I just can’t with Aiden. I mean, all that nonsense about the apartment and the pepper grinder and the chicken and LORD GIVE ME STRENGTH what is the attraction?! I also don’t like Carrie WITH Aiden (I mean I don’t like her much anyway these days but YKWIM) - that melodramatic hug in Che’s apartment last week was fucking odd. And the Big being a mistake statement was just ludicrous. Anyway, this week was better but I had to get that out.

I’m enjoying the Charlotte returning to work stuff and it’s been nice to see glimpses of the old Miranda from time to time. I thought the two of them were quite funny with the Brady-Lily sleuthing. But let it be known that I care not for either Lily or Brady. Who DO I like at this point…?! LTW. Seema. Anthony. And I hate to say it but I did laugh last week when Che said ‘sorry for saying fuck in front of your turtle, man’. I won’t be lulled into liking them though.

I’m really enjoying Anthony and the Italian. More of that please.

While I don’t agree with Carrie moving for old Doug-Brad, the new place is stunning so I can’t say it’s a bad idea. I suspect/hope it’s all going to go tits-up though. It’ll be such a cop out if she just slides from one happily ever after to another.

I have to say, all of this sloppiness with storyline detail is really pissing me off. If we can remember, why can’t anybody who actually works on the show?!

Her apartment does seem alot smaller than I remember it. What wall exactly did he knock down? I wouldnt let it go. The position is just so good but I think in the show its not supposed to be in the Village, is it? The new one is something else. I wouldnt want to live there on my own though its too big and Im a scaredy cat.

Was it the wall behind the bed/bathroom maybe? Didn’t he buy the apartment next door from an elderly lady, start knocking it through and then they split up? That’s when he issued papers for her to buy him out? I can’t remember the rest. Except getting the deposit/ring from Charlotte.

Yep. She stopped him from knocking it through and her apartment is still just the original size. Presumably he sold the old lady’s apartment when they split.

Ooh I am loving this series! Although I hate having Aiden back in it and he's far more annoying than I remember - terrible sense of humour and just looks very old now. The face! The legs!

It was sad when she told Miranda she thought Big was a mistake. All those years being happily married, her grief at his death, the book. I think at some point she needs to accept that if Big hadn't died, she wouldn't be with Aiden. She chose Big.

I suspect she will buy the place then the relationship will fall apart, but at least it's just in her name. She can rent out some rooms to Che and Miranda!

I was pleased to see Aiden again but it was clearly sheer nostalgia. It’s totally like seeing an old boyfriend again then realising that he was actually super irritating.

I think Harry was just doing a fundraiser, I don't think he is a campaign manager. Fundraising is a HUGE part of American politics.

Why couldn't they give Aidan a pair of boxers or something ffs?!! He needs an extra 10lb on him and some grey in his hair - just looks like some odd version of his younger self, as though he's morphing back to his 20s; not remotely attractive.

Agree about Carrie's apartment - it looks huge compared to SATC; the outside is filmed on Perry Street in the West Village, I think, but her address was 245 East 73rd St, which is a long way from there and doesn't have brownstones, so never rang true either.
