Late to this… persevered through it but god, it’s awful. Miranda is sooo annoying. All the woke stuff is just so trite.

I am kind of interested in Carrie’s storyline so will watch to the end but I’m not sure why!

Steve is not to blame for Miranda's guilt. She's chosen to act the martyr and travel all over town, doing laundry and cooking, when she previously left Steve to it alone. She's only doing it to feel less bad for cheating and to look less bad in front of Brady, who surely knows what's going on. And she's enjoying it! I think she's been enjoying both her martyrdom and her impression that Steve can't manage without her. This has balanced out her ecstatic, in love with Che, "this is the real me" side. It's with Che that we get the real Miranda in this episode - she's angry, and demanding the reappearance of "happy, cool Che" because she didn't leave Steve for "miserable, insecure Che", and the balance is now all off kilter.

We also see the financial inequality in the Miranda/Steve relationship bubble to the surface, because it was always there, and the Miranda who thought with her head not her heart knew it was not a marriage of equals. It was pretty nasty of her to throw that in his face after all these years, though. Surely Steve's bar must be quite successful to have survived the notoriously fickle NY scene all these years, not to mention the covid closure.

Steve saying you never wanted me, the house, Brady....can Miranda really deny that? She's been busy rewriting her own history and attitude towards "mayonnaise". Funny how she went for emotional manipulation (crying and walking out) rather than a denial or justification.

I hope Miranda and Nya don't get together. I really don't want to watch the Queer Theory of Everyone in NY. Besides, I don't want a fragile Nya hurt by a rebounding Miranda. She's far too nice for that treatment.

Charlotte dashing to get condoms for lily seems a little unreal

She knew Lily was going to have sex. She would do anything to avoid a teen pregnancy. It was a little extreme in the weather but believable.

In reality it would have been more likely she presented Lily with a box before she left but not as funny.

LTW is just amazing!

Actually really enjoyed that episode. Laughed out loud at several of Harry's lines.

And, YES, not enough Anthony, we need more!

How fantastic did Carrie look at Widow Con? Her hair and that dress were perfect.

I loved this episode too! The coat! Or should I say the Moncler ball gown was amazing I loved it almost as much as the Mille-Feuille dress in the last episode of SATC.

I knew Che would dump Miranda once she referred to her as ‘Mommy’ to Carrie. Thank God that version of Miranda is over.

I didn’t warm to Nya previously but I liked her a lot more in this episode . Charlotte’s condom hunt was slightly ridiculous but I can imagine doing the same if my DD was threatening the pull out technique (I really hope I never achieve that level of intimacy with my DD).

I’m really looking forward to seeing inside the beach house and I feel inspired by all the clothes.

How does Carrie fit that huge coat/dress into her tiny apartment?

Did the actor who plays Steve have some kind of a health issue? His voice sounds so different to how it used to.

I have to ask, is a ballgown actually functional and practical for such weather? I’m now leaning more towards upcycling a Mountain Warehouse parka instead…

That would make a great Sewing Bee transformation challenge: bunch of old parkas into a ballgown.

Loved this episode and love this whole season.

I want to see more scenes of just Antony, Charlotte and Harry in the kitchen, just talking and cooking.

Agree with everyone else's comments, although surely the solution to Lily's condom crisis was for her to go to the bloody drug store herself?? Why were the only options the boyfriend going and being spotted near the apartment or Charlotte schlepping through the snow?

It seemed even more grating than usual that Rock and Lily share a bedroom. We never see anything of Charlotte's apartment except the kitchen and this bedroom.

That gripe aside, it was fantastic to see Steve stand up to Miranda and Miranda stand up to Che. Time for them all to move on.

Something very odd about the release date for this season - you wouldn't expect the winter eps to be broadcast in midsummer. So was it delayed? We've got a long time to wait for Seema and Carrie in the Hamptons, the whole series could just have been that and it would have been great.

Now that Carrie is fabulously wealthy, does she have somewhere else she stores all her clothes?

This was my fav episode so far, by a long way. Cried at Steve’s rant and it felt like they finally acknowledged an SATC story line existed.
