So is it no longer a terrible program? Series one got an absolute pasting. Might give it a go if it's improved..

@Neolara it's improved in parts. There is a great deal you are likely to hate in the early episodes of season 2.

Miranda and Steve's house is gorgeous, isn't it? Big mistake of Steve not to have his name on the mortgage - if/when they get divorced and she sells up he wouldn't be entitled to any of the equity - is that right? That house must have gone up in value by hundreds of thousands of dollars by now.

I think AJLT may have just redeemed itself. Che has gone, thank God, but I felt almost a tiny bit sorry for them - seems like they grew up a bit and suddenly became (slightly) more interesting as a result. Glad Miranda got a mouthful from Steve - it may now have dawned on her just how badly she has treated everyone. Don't understand how she still has a mortgage though? Surely she bought before Brooklyn became so desirable and prices shot up? Liked the four women together round the table - felt a bit more like SATC of old.

But - Wish they'd give Charlotte more of a storyline: she reacts to everyone else's but hasn't had her own at all in either series. And Anthony - an asset and sadly underused; love how he says what everyone else is thinking and gets away with it

do we think the Miranda of old is about to return since finding the cliched condom wrapper?!?!

ah yet again I’m coming to these threads having watched it and feeling just “meh” about it. Charlotte scouring snowstorm ridden Manhattan for rubber johnnies for her teenage daughter was cringe. The designer snow accessories were put in force though.

I didn’t like the Widow con dress. She looks amazing in dresses that don’t swap her tiny lovely frame. Her hair was fab though

Sorry I stand by my opinion of the duffle coat sleeping bag dress, even with the image above. I really don't like it.

Charlotte's fashion has too much Burberry for me too. Its always been one of her go to fashion labels but I also associate it with the chavs of my youth. 😂

Meh - the snow annoyed me. They all arrived at their destinations with perfect hair and makeup. Snow would turn you into a wet mess in need of a blow dry in very short order. The duvet ballgown reminded me of Ursula in the Little Mermaid.

@Needhelp101 I think Charlotte's face has looked almost back to normal these last 2 episodes, pretty and mobile and less crazy eye rolling. She's also been dressed in less flouncy clothing, and actually looks very nice (especially last week, with her "The Americans" look). I wonder if there's a connection - if KD knows that she'll be dressed in one of those pouffy, middle aged, Disney princess outfits for a scene, she gets some botox to match, or something?

I really loved this weeks one , I loved carries snow coat , Elsa of Manhattan , totally over the top but sheer fabulous! I loved LWT scene in the toilet with the older lady and I even really liked Che this week! they were back to their funny self , mommy when describing Miranda on the phone was the kiss of death for them wasn't it.

Anyone else notice the connection between Carrie needing a new laptop, then Aiden being on her mind. I thought it was paying homage to the SATC motherboard episode. Maybe I’m on the overthink again, but showed how C was quite cool when her laptop dropped on floor, she also made reference to last time she got a new one, ‘about 8 years ago’ so obviously not the first time with Aiden. She wasn’t as immature or freaked out, she backs up all the time now and certainly wasn’t phased in the Apple overt product placement store. I thought it was a clever technique to use re why she was thinking of Aiden…but it requires some overthink and I was somewhat distracted by the snow duvet.

I thought the snow storm was really ridiculous! Like how come the whole city was closed yet their sex / charity / widow events were the only things to continue and they were the only people out on the streets?

I thought in her coat she looks like some kind of giant squid!

The condom thing bothered me too. She seemed to imply to Charlotte that she didn't need to use them because no danger of getting pregnant and SHE doesn't have STD's. But no thought as to whether Franklin might have given her one. Carrie's been round the block enough times not to consider that surely?

Or maybe she'll find out she's not gone through meno at all and now she's pregnant with Franklin's baby

Unfortunately I think we are all meant to be rooting for a Che and Miranda reunion, although Miranda would be far better joining Nya in a class run by Seema called 'how to live a fabulous life as a single in New York'.

I was glad to see Carrie competently Zooming. After Miranda's inability to work a phone a few weeks ago, I thought we were living in a twilight zone where 50 something women are technological idiots.

All as I thought when I saw Carrie's coat was where the fuck does she store that! 😂

I don't think Miranda will get back together with Steve, but there's no guarantee she'll move on from him either. She wasn't going anywhere before Che came along, and her new found bi-sexuality was all about Che - she had never been attracted to another woman. Miranda needs to figure out who she is without Che or Steve.

I kinda hope Steve gets a new sexy girlfriend (a bit like he did with Debbie) and Miranda wants to get back with him but he turns her down. She was so selfish when she first left him for Che, like literally didn't give a shit about how he was feeling at all!

Also, why is Che moping about so much, and why can't she return to stand up? Does she not understand how the industry works? Hundreds of pilots are made every year, only a tiny number go anywhere. Most big TV stars have had pilots that bombed, they just keep on trying. She wasn't even happy with her pilot, as it was depicting her as someone she didn't believe in. And she's not even an actor, so it's not as if this was all she was about anyway. All this "my life is over" stuff from an already very successful (in her industry - comedy) woman in her late 40s is not particularly ingratiating.
