Seriously, not even the colour scheme of black and white was correct for the painting, which is greys/taupes/greens with a hint of red/orange.

I had to go back and look at it again because I'd forgotten what the painting was. Now that I've looked at it again her dress looks as much like I Saw Three Cities as I look like the leaning tower of Pisa.

I really liked the canvas challenge.

Not keen on Fauve's dress, but generally this week, while bizarre, has been interesting.

I'm not even going to watch children's week, I find it boring and always skip it.

I'm going to go against general opinion here and say I found this week's SB quite interesting 😊. Yes, most of the designs were unwearable but so are some catwalk creations in the real world!

I thought Tony's This Is A Dress was a bit uninspired though and really disliked Fauve's GOTW. Loved Sara's comment that she could sell it to Ann Summers after the show 🤣

I liked Tony's black dress. When I was at art college it was very much the avenue we were pushed down wrt the conceptual nature of it. Also , on his instagram account he explains a little more of the idea behind it. Apparently it was boned to retain the triangular shape too , so actually a lot more technical than we were lead to believe on the show.

I quite liked Tony the Post's dress as well. It was quite conceptual.

I did not care for the gotw. However if I can pop foot wide elastic panels at the side I will have something to wear for the Rocky Horror show. (Fat Magenta x Nan collaboration)

Asmaa’s top should have been gotw. I’m sorry Tone W is off but am really pleased Tony the Post is still here. I loved his frock.

Love Tony and Asmaa. I’m not warming to Lizzie. Not sure how.

I remember her. If I am right she was the person who made the child’s dress which features in the opening credits. I wonder what happened to the dress! Just like I wonder what happened to the small child in the Bake Off credits. I need to get a life.

@FriendsDrinkBook thanks for that information, they should have made that more clear because I'm sure a lot of people think all he did was sew a couple of bits of fabric together and then tit about for a few hours. I really liked his dress because he clearly got the brief.

I keep thinking about Fauve and her thing for Patrick. I totally get it. I'd love to go for a meal with Patrick and see if we'd end up back at his for some heavy petting but if I was on the show I'd keep my gob shut about it. I'd probably blush like a nightmare when he came near me, at first, and then if I stayed on the show I'd get used to being so close to my "crush" but I sure as hell wouldn't let millions of people know that one of the judges was making me go weak at the knees.

He is quite a dish to be fair. Fauve makes me laugh - I hope she stays in for a while.

I don’t get the Tony the post love, I find all his designs a bit meh. For me, Asmara, Lizzie & Lauren are the best so far, but it is still relatively early days.

Asmaa was robbed of GOTW.
Her transformation was fabulous.
I thought Fauve's dress was awful not great.

Maybe they don't want her to win every week and then win the show. She is way better than anyone else there.
