There are so many storylines that stretch the imagination to ridiculous lengths. But I think Gemma working as a P.A is up there with the episode where Stephen single handedly removed the roof box containing the body from the car. Then launched it into the canal and threw pebbles at it to make it sink . Sink it did and still hasn’t been discovered 🤣

I think Gemma's looking visibly different, yes, and in a few ways. Nicer clothes, less time spent with her gob hanging open, fewer daft hair styles.

I was similarly perplexed by Peter’s jeans! But not as perplexed as I was by Carla’s plan to hunt down the Rolex and buy it back presumably with magic beans.

Had Carla and Lou even met before last night’s episode? They’re suddenly like best mates and Lou abandoned her son on the day of his dad’s funeral to chat and sip cocktails with Carla.

I’d forgotten all about Peter finding Rufus’s watch in the taxi. Surely Peter isn’t going to be incriminated now. I’ve thought all along dopey Michael will be the fall guy and Stephen will manage to make him the prime suspect.

I think they had to up Gemma's image a bit to make her slightly more believable as a love interest for Henry. How she could afford the new outfits is a mystery though.
