No, you’re right; we didn’t get to see Todd receive his award. This does seem to happen a lot.

The whole setup is bizarre at the moment. They must have spent a fortune on that precinct set extension when it wasn’t really necessary - and that’s on top of the completely pointless posh hotel set, which they seem to build storylines around the justify its existence - yet there’s no budget for extras to make it look like the businesses on the street are actually viable.

(The hotel is upstairs from the police station in real life!)

Slightly embarrassed to admit much of my teenage years were spent with Simon & Garfunkel on repeat. I’m 33.

It does seem odd, the additions to the set.. when older sets seem horribly filthy..

Roys Rolls interior looks really grubby.

The platts house, the armchair seems to have changed now (with no discussion on it at any point in the show!) but the sofa still looks bad, the previous armchair always had a throw on it, but I definitely noticed several times, one arm of a pale cream/white arm chair was distinctly dirty. Oooh, it can be seen in the photo of the interior here - fairly sure it has now changed..
