Caroline bringing Kerri and Sally-Anne up to the front was perfection. Marcia offering her hand to Kerri - perfection. I've just watched back the scene at the start of the wake to see if they're all still together but alas Kerri isn't there (the other three are sitting at the same table). The four of them getting trollied together would have been divine.
What an episode. James Cromwell's performance was magnificent, made all the more so by the fact he is struggling with long Covid and they shot the entire funeral as one scene, multiple times. Keiran Culkin just amazing as the 'pre-grieving' fell apart. What kind of mother doesn't go to her son in such a situation? (Well, we know the answer to that: Caroline). It reinforces why, even when the sibs are essentially at war with each other, they cling together. There is no-one else for them.
Kendall coming alive again when there is a big speech to do - he seems to feed off that energy for a bit afterwards and then collapse back into catatonia. HIs look when they left the cemetery seemed to be putting Logan into the past.
And Jess - unable to tell the truth, just like Frank and Karl at the gravesite with Shiv. They don't understand that their employees will never tell them the truth - or maybe they do, and don't care.
It seems odd that Tom was so absent from this (and he continues to be 'so tired', what is that leading up to?). I think partly he is just tired of constantly performing in order to keep his place in the circus. And the game has changed now that Shiv is pregnant.
