Was Stewy at the funeral?

He was in the trailer for the funeral, but didn't make the final edit for some reason. But I guess you'd assume he would be there.

In the media and online Shiv is spelt the phonetic way. I know that the slang meaning of Shiv helps conjure a certain image but were they even called shivs around the time that she was named. 😉

I read somewhere that the names were originally supposed to represent the characters:

Shiv - will stab you
Roman - "roaming" - never settled down
Kendall - Ken Doll - all looks and no substance
Connor - con-ner

I was curious how Matsson knew Shiv was pregnant. She's only told Tom , Roman and Ken as far as I can recall? He either had a lucky guess ? Or Tom has told him...

It's difficult to gauge because of Sarah Snook being more pregnant in real life than Shiv is meant to be in the show, but certainly Caroline could tell without being told. Okay she is likely to be a bit more perceptive than Matsson! Shiv's (unseen) assistant must know - I refuse to believe Kendall is the only one who has a Jess to hold his coat and run his life. The assistant network always knows everything.

However, the other thing is that both sides are leaking constantly to each other, there are no secrets.

Also, I keep meaning to say. It was the least religious religious funeral I've ever seen. We could kind of assume we weren't watching the whole thing in real time, but surely you'd kick off with a prayer or a hymn or something?

There was a line near the beginning of the service, something like '...but first we're going to hear from the people who knew and loved him' so I assumed there was a whole service afterwards. It was a bit strange the way they didn't even show a bit of a hymn or whatever.

Is the final episode going to be the same length as usual or a little longer like a lot to finales are?

It’s an hour and a half!

On the piece of paper in the study earlier in the series Logan had chose the hymns for his funeral (I remember because one was the same as we had at my grandmother’s funeral) so we can assume it was a full (Catholic?) mass.

My favourite bit was Caroline's face when Kendall said "he made life happen. He made me and my three siblings". So typical of the misogynistic mentality of the family (and life!) that Caroline was swept aside as a mere conduit for Logan's greatness. Her face perfectly encapsulated the indignity and injustice!

Totally true, and its the emphasis on all this that makes me think Gerri will be the winner at the end all fingers crossed

My favourite scene has to be Kendall telling Roman he fucked up 😅Brutal. But then I never liked Roman.

I thought Gerri wanted a BIG payout and then to be out. I didn't think she was bothered about staying on. She wanted money. As did Frank and Karl.

Matsson could have swooped in with an offer she could not refuse. Gerri is very ambitious.

I love Gerri and loved her does anyone miss him line, delivered very well but I think Kendall is rising to the top
