@Halsall good luck, hope it's all okay. Spent most of the day at paeds a&e with DD1 so I have sympathy re the waiting!!

I missed the end as was getting a coffee. Dh said they kicked out the shit bloke and the shite woman so the other shit blokes got ygrough.

There are a lot of very unhappy little ones here, @Jourdain11 so I feel your pain. Thanks for good wishes.

My DD was just unhappy about having to be there - she hates hospitals! Unfortunately she had a really bad drop in blood sugar and blacked out (she's T1 diabetic) so they kept us ages to observe her, but she's all okay now.

Just caught up. Standard's really are shite.

Unless the standard improves a lot I'm beginning to wonder what kind of winner we'll get.

Yes, I agree. It wasn't very inspiring really, and I am a lover of all things vegetarian usually on Masterchief because the cooks seem to work so much harder and be so much more adventurous. But a Maccies beanburger gone to slush didn't really appeal.

I am a fairly uninspired vegetarian cook, and even I could make something more attractive looking than that, honestly! And it's the kind of thing that's always going to taste "okay" unless you burn it.

I kind of hope she goes because she isn't good. Sloppy beanburger and then something super salty means that she isn't a great cook. That said, I think it was really spiteful of them to leave in the bit where she said she thought she'd definitely get an apron.

I don't really get how people screw up with salt - don't they taste stuff? Even if they're someone who likes everything salty, you'd think they would know that and adapt accordingly!

I'm always behind by this point in Masterchef, but made a special effort to catch up so can watch live tonight! Excited.

The current bunch are pretty uninspiring, but I do like FirePigMan, he's sweet. All the food was unmemorable, and really...cupcakes?

This week has made me all the more concerned that WankyTweezerMan Miles is going to do really well in the competition.

Not a fan of the 9pm episodes. I'm usually one eye open one eye closed by 9.15pm

Good evening fellow cheffians, I am here on time for a change. Lovely Jimi tonight, I wonder what he will ask them to do. Preferably something that doesn’t include grey pastry, I don’t care how melt in the mouth and crumbly it was, it looked like carpet underlay, and wouldn’t get past my lips.
