Hi, I've been watching some old episodes this week before the new series starts tomorrow night. What's everyone's favourites? I know there's so many. I watched Sardines last night I love that one think it's so funny and clever poor Stinky John. And Wuthering Heist, really clever writing and twists. I think the only one I wasn't pushed on was the Devil of Christmas.

I watched today:

Nana's Party
Tom&Gerri
Seance Time

all oldie but goodie

I also love Thinking Out Loud and The Referee's a W*er . Does anyone know what was cut from the original ?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/05/2023 22:56

O , I had 3 * in there but the computer stole them !

pinkchampagne1 · 07/05/2023 17:18

Seance time was pretty creepy at the end wasn’t it?! 😐

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 07/05/2023 17:35

I still jump at the end even though I know what's coming Blush

Just caught up with this week's
nicely done! What did others think?

Yep really enjoyed it. Wasn't that cat just gorgeous. Loved it when he rang up the Dermot OLeary show very funny.

Have you seen Nana's Party , it's got one of those time-jump scenes , where you see a Paramedic turn up at the house then it skips to eight hours earlier .
It's one of those sd but every character (except the daughter and the Nan) are really unlikeable !

Haven't watched this one yet. What series is it? Sounds good. I forgot they did say the one at xmas was the 1st episode as long as I haven't missed any. I believe next series is the last (makes sense really ending on series 9)

And one with Adrian Dunbar init, reece was an extra in a show they were filming and they were in a caravan?? Can't remember the name of it.

That's "Hurry Up and Wait"

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/05/2023 18:55

Nana's Party is Series 2

pinkchampagne1 · 08/05/2023 20:20

I am just watching Tempting Fate. Hoping it isn’t one that will give me nightmares!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/05/2023 20:40

Tempting Fate is a clever one , not too creepy .

pinkchampagne1 · 08/05/2023 21:00

That was s clever one. You literally can’t see the twists coming!

I just watched that on the treadmill (that's what I do now - go on the treadmill and watch Inside No 9). The one before it with the lipreader was great too.

Nana's party was great - and so funny in bits.

3kidsaremorethanenough · 09/05/2023 11:30

I love it when they have a little bit of creepiness in them. I thought how do you pleade had a nice bit of creepy init.

I watched Bernie Clinton's dressing room yesterday 🥲 fancied an emotional one.

Nanas party and Lip service it is tonight then 😊

Good on ya 70s if I had a treadmill I'd do the same, unfortunately I only have the sofa, the cat and tea and biccys, 😁😁

I have just downloaded the how do you plead episode as I haven’t seen it yet.

TheMarzipanDildo · 09/05/2023 20:57

Just watched The Stakeout. Brilliant. Missed every single clue.

3kidsaremorethanenough · 09/05/2023 22:34

Lip Service and Simon Says this evening. Both brilliant.

"What's Dadchat" "like Mumsnet but with sad men instead of competitive women" 🤣🤣 loved that!

Stake out and Nanas Party tomorrow night....must check to see what I've left....think I'll watch Mr King again too

I watched Lip service yesterday. I thought it was combative women not competitive women - loved it.

Watched a couple tonight as I was on my own. even the not great ones are great.

That's even better 🤣yeah even the weaker ones are better than most of what's on TV...

Just watched Thinking out Loud. Another clever one.

3kidsaremorethanenough · 11/05/2023 10:14

I've bypassed thinking out loud a few times now so that is next on the list.

Watched Nanas party, it was brilliant, comedy, emotion and a bit of eye candy 😁

Watched 9 lives Kat too, wasn't too sure about it until half way through

I enjoyed tonights , though DH guessed the 'twist' and whittered on, I shushed him so I could watch the story unfold.

Claire Rushbrook (Vicky) was in Whitechapel with Steve Pemberton Smile

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 12/05/2023 09:01

Last night’s episode was good.

My favourite episodes are The Twelve Days of Christine, Sardines, The Harrowing, the Elizabeth Gadge and the seance one.

pinkchampagne1 · 12/05/2023 14:53

The only one I haven’t seen from your list is the Elizabeth Gadge one. Will search for that later. 😊

GonnaGetGoingReturns · 12/05/2023 20:44

The Elizabeth Gadge one is based on the Witchfinder General film. It’s full of bawdy innuendo too, very clever!
