Channel 4 this week, documentary about Paula Yates.
She was the same age as me and I followed her career from the beginning. Had a bit of a girl crush on her and was genuinely sad when she died.

Reading all these updates, it's very clear that Hutchence was not capable of being a good stepfather to the Geldof children, and somewhat unlikely that he ever showed much of an interest, never mind sorted out homework and uniforms.

I think the Mysify film portrayed a slightly better image of him. I guess nobody on here knows the actual truth. I mean he went out with Kylie and Helena (who both seemed to think highly of him).

I do think the head injury affected him and caused him to sink in to a deep depression (and altered his personality) which then increased the drug use. It’s very sad.

Not really because most balanced people don't end up dead by suicide or misadventure in an hotel room, do they? The autopsy reports show that MH had quite a number of different prescription and class A drugs in his system at the time of death and he also had a burn on one of his fingers that went down to the bone, likely caused by an extreme opioid. That's not anyone's opinion.

Yes she was witty and intelligent but really doesn't come across as a nice woman

It doesn't make you a bad person to be an addict. Kylie ended her relationship with him because she found his extreme lifestyle too much. Not because she thought he was a bad person.

Apparently, he stayed in touch with all of them after breaking up and would still be emotionally attached. He'd phone them all when he was upset. Strange set up j guess.

I think he was one of those men who needed to be seen 'in motion'. He wasn't really my type but he did have a blatant sexiness and allure. In still photos he wasn't anything special however. Terrible pockmarked skin too.

What I think is very sad is that the surviving daughters are still seen as good 'press' fodder. Within the past week (in the wake of the documentaries about Paula and Hughie Green) both Pixie and Tiger Lily have been featured as DM articles. Leave the girls alone.
