We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently nearing the end of series 4 of Spooks but have agreed to take a short break after this series to go back to our first love - Our Girl and the consensus was to view series 2. Georgie utters the immortal and oft repeated line "We're here to help!" and you know how frequently the opposite happens.

Georgie gets lippy with Captain Osman. She gets away with an awful lot.

Georgie's caught a case of ASAP from CJ, sounds very infectious.

Some of the dialogue they gave CJ in this series was peculiar. What was the point of that remark about a pill and his mother

Well I did think that line about the chill pill was rather funny to be honest! But I do agree with you that some of his lines were odd and definitely not like the CJ from series 1.

I agree, it's strange. Are we supposed to think his parents are a bit of a pain. Later when he's talking to Elvis he says something about them in Bath which doesn't sound too complementary, but I wonder if they don't necessarily approve of the marriage to Molly - after his first marriage failed.

Dr Dull is perfect apparently, but she says that because he's the opposite of Elvis and totally reliable.

You are probably right there Rhu and it was something about him getting married again and to a squaddie but we had to assume so much I think there was a lot of dialogue missing. Of course people who had not seen series 1 wouldn't find it strange.

He's not called Elvis Rhu but I have to confess it's a name I have stored up for a future cat I may have!
