We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently nearing the end of series 4 of Spooks but have agreed to take a short break after this series to go back to our first love - Our Girl and the consensus was to view series 2. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

Going quite well and then in comes Kinders and everything goes pear shaped

CJ looks a bit distracted. He is testing the waters to see if the gossip is true or not.

That's it...she went to Newport and it's all over!!

Now she realises how Smurf has the wrong end of the stick but who can blame him

Now she realises what a tangled web has been woven. CJ is really off with her and very sulky.

Oh CJ finds his coffee capsules and reflects a bit

Then he sees the gift she brought back and wonders what it means.

CJ behaves like a sulky child.

Off we go heading to Bastion but as we know, all is not straightforward.

One of those famous head flicks. I'm going to say now that this next scene always makes me laugh when one of the trucks almost collides with one in front.

Sadly, Molly. Nothing has changed as only boys go to school in Afghanistan now.

How many times did we question why CJ went out t that sheet instead of tasking someone else to do it.

You know Molly, she does have a tendency to venture into minefields. Good time for a heart to heart.

NIne years on and as you say, nothing has changed.

The famous words from Molly. We can just feel the tension. "Do you love me?"

Sohail is found before CJ can answer that question.

All a bit surreal that would you really say 'do you live' after the little bit of discussion they've had

Of course that was meant to say do you love me not that tripe I managed to scribble

Another famously slightly funny moment which shouldn't be when Molly shouts "He's gone off!" But we learn that Sohail is a good guy and that he was protecting Bashira and Molly all this time.

Poor Sohail he wasn't so bad after all

It is Sohail under the sheet. "Stay with me". Back at Bastion, the prognosis isn't good for him. He manages to explain he was told to kill Molly and when he woldn't, he was beaten to within an inch of his life.

I always think of you giggling Rhu at the "He's gone off".

Now we know that Molly was a target. A sweet moment of empathy and understanding, forehead to forehead. Ahhh....

Well that t is that one over and the next one of course has us really worried

Let's get this thread finished off then we can start afresh next week.
