We started to follow Our Girl back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of Soldier Soldier to keep up our military terminology and have galloped through all three series of The Musketeers. There was a definite connection between Our Girl and The Musketeers in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are currently nearing the end of series 4 of Spooks but have agreed to take a short break after this series to go back to our first love - Our Girl and the consensus was to view series 2. Please join in if either Spooks or Our Girl grab your attention.

Uh-oh!! The ambulance is held up and Georgie has the foresight to hide her uniform and dog tags. They throw her into that pick up truck like a sack of spuds!! When did she change her trousers as well?

And so ends the first episode. Episode 2 awaits and it's a good one!

I've just worked out that I will miss the final episode of this as I will be on holiday! If we do episode 4 on 17 April instead of 19 April, I will be able to watch that episode though (the men in black and it's one of my favourites).

Yes episode 2 is a good one. Favourite bit of course when the boys arrive by helicopter. Definitely can hear in my head "the boys are back in town. All that purposeful striding into view. eejit will be in seventh heaven

Just noticed, in the prologue, Elvis says he’s off to Ukraine after Afghan.

PS - you don’t get Lyme’s disease from water. Maybe Georgie is thinking of Weil’s disease.

In episode 4, when he and Georgie are in the cafe, he tells Jamie it's the best Polish cafe outside Kiev, except as we knew then and most certainly know now, Kiev/Kyiv is in Ukraine.

I had to learn about Weil's disease when I had to do a health and safety role.

Looking forward to seeing the boys back in town tonight!!
