I don't understand how they pick the people as individuals and then do the whole 'matching' rubbish. Surely if it was serious, they'd pick couples they thought were well matched and cast like that. Stupid programme. The young couple who aren't even that young are annoying. Love the first couple. Hate Harrison and the thing with Bronte is probably all that lip licking stuff that a few of them with puffed up lips do. There seem to be a lot of fake boobs in Aus. No idea why. Maybe all the swimsuits and hot weather?

I think like all 'human' shows (Big Brother etc) they start off with normal everyday types who genuinely want to make whatever experiment it is work, and slowly end up 1. Making it more 'interesting' by adding in stupid challenges or scripted scenes (the brothers) and 2. Applicants start to be people who are either BIG PERSONALITIES or want a launchpad for something else

I agree. It's interesting him going in there thinking he was the wacky one. When actually he is self-aware and potentially quite considered. Claire on the face of it seemed happy go lucky etc but I sense her loudness is making up for a lack of personality. It's exhausting to watch her.

I totally understand Janelle (?) going on and on about his career etc.
If I was wealthy/successful (which she clearly is), and went on MAFS, if my new husband said he's started up a competition page and hopes it'll take off and he hopes he'll do a podcast etc etc, that would be a huge issue for me too. Surely he can understand that he's not really explaining his job well 🤔

Maybe he’s actually very rich and is trying to disguise it. Is Janelle the new Ines?

I love Lyndell and Cam and Olly and Tan. They are so cute! I also really liked sandy and her fella too. Jesse is too much, his girl seems lovely and no one should be shushed by a man! I think the Harrison Brontë drama is a set up, and the money row between Janelle and her man seemed rather orchestrated too, a big build up over nothing then all happiness again, but maybe that’s just the cynic in me 😂

I do find Ollie and Tahnee endearing tho and glad they got a decent honeymoon on the beach in Fiji.

As for Janelle and family, sheesh! I thought the bruvvers were going to either search Adam's wallet or demand a recent bank statement.
Financial security is evidently very important to them.
