I agree with a PP who said Tanya has been looking for an 'out' with Shaq...
I've never been convinced by her 'love' for him.. always felt he was definitely more into her than she was into him. In general, there something about Tanya I can't put my finger on.. like her super bubbly happy positive act is almost a barrier, to keep people at a certain distance? Like she doesn't want to give away to much of her real vulnerability etc? Can't put my finger on it..

I could attempt an opinion but it would take about 20 thousand words.

Have you tried imagining what it must be like to be her - the dissonance of being an intelligent, socially successful woman going into LI knowing your role in the villa is to be considered unattractive to all but a tiny minority of men there? Preferably one at a time. It must be grim and her head must be fried.

I hate this programme.

I wish I could stop watching.

Tanya fancied Tom. She made it very clear to him when she first met him and he didn’t respond to her at all.

I’ve wondered if she feels totally resigned to Shaq as no other man showed interest. He was the only one who stepped forward her and that has been it ever since.

I think the contestants should meet much more closely before they do that first pick, as some things stand out much more from a distance, red lipstick or blonde hair for example, even when the wearer isn’t really that attractive close up. Women with small pretty features lose out there I think, especially in bright sun where contestants can’t see that well to start with 😄

They'll bring someone in who fancies Tanya during Casa. I'm surprised they haven't done it already.

I do think she likes Shaq, but not his signs of dominance/possessiveness.

@OodieSmoodie David came in and only showed interest only in Tanya.

Interesting to hear Ron’s view. Can see it was annoying they all sided with new guy over him. But he can’t see being a cocky twat with all the unnecessary digs at Casey was wrong and unneeded

I don't know why they all 'couple up' so quickly after the initial picking - unless it's producer directed. Otherwise if several people had stepped forward for you and you had to pick one, surely you'd still get to know the others 'just in case' type thing?

We needs a big shake up.

Shaq seems like he’s a really annoying person to argue with. It’s very much the “if I’m calm and not shouting, I’m being reasonable” when actually the way that he is talking down to people is not ok, regardless of the relatively calm delivery

I hope so! Also would make sense for us to see it on a Friday to leave us hanging until Sunday...

They are both stubborn. Shaq just admit you were a dick to Ron and Tanya just admit there was no need to bring in Lana to have a go at him too lol.

I get why Shaq wasn't happy with the girl he's coupled up with bringing a mate along to discuss an issue. It's very high school. No need for Lana to have been involved. However, I didn't particularly like a couple of his comments there.

It must be awful in there when there's a disagreement, just no space to get your head together or think things through properly.

He wasn't a dick to Ron though. Ron was the dick in that scenario. I know Ron contributed to the cooking, but so did a good few of the other boys and they cleaned up.

Are we actually going to see who goes tonight? Makes a refreshing change.
