I am a bit disappointed. The scenes with Tommy Lee Royce and the ones with him and Catherine were really strong but I thought the rest was disappointing. All that time setting up the other threads and they were tied up in a couple of sentences at the end. All the publicity about a major character dying and how upset everyone was on set, and it turns out to be the main villain.
Ryan should have been in the last section.

I feel sorry for the unknown jilted bride!

I thought that - that Florence was daddy's "special girl"

Wish Ann had got a bit of screen time.

The denouement of the Faisal/PE teacher storyline was unsatisfying. Alison's probation officer and the pills was a bit deus ex machina and too much happened off screen, e.g. the PE teacher and the images on his phone and Faisal getting his comeuppance.

I'm going to have to watch it again to process it all.

I think he'll have gone down with Catherine being able to say he killed (honestly, no picking at my spelling!) Gary Gogowski as TLR said he was there etc.

Basically my feelings too. Pleased the goodies got their happy ending but as is so often the case, it was a lot of build-up and then a bit rushed.

I think two grannies and a grandad was symbolic - like Catherine, Clare and Richard.

I also thought TLR would come out with a story he did not actually rape Becky. I personally was convinced that was the truth and that he'd say this in the final episode. My money was on dodgy Neil having been a party to it all, but I was clearly wrong. Still can't stand Neil though.

I kind of feel like the series has been more about her hatred of TLR than her love of Ryan and the rest of her family.
I kind of appreciate that there weren't any mad twists because it is and always has been incredibly character driven and that ending really showed the innermost, deepest, darkest sides to them both. TLR is just an amazing baddie.

And we're done, loved it.

I suppose with TLR you could ask was he like that because of nurture or nature? He was extremely violent and sadistic. I'm not sure he wouldn't still be like that even with a relatively normal upbringing. Anyway that's deep. Going back to my own crochet 😊

He really knew what he had lost/what he was but tried to minimise but Catherine told him straight.

Yes -he was sincere but took responsibility for his own actions.

I thought it was good. There needed to be other stories going on. This way we got closure on that - we can assume Pfizer is going down. But, it wasn’t a big distraction. Also, it showcased Catherine’s amazing policing that she gets the info even on her last day. On top of that, it shows her humanity because she only gets it because she cared for Alison.

I’d like him to hook up with Alison.
