His skin wouldn't be that clear or soft looking either. Honestly if he looked like a neglected toothless monster no one would believe him when he tried to show his soft side.

@amprev agree with your teeth comment. In my profession I support a lot of adults who have had neglectful/abusive childhoods, including people in prisons, and their teeth are more often than not in a bad state. Even with quite young adults in their early 20s. He would look infinitely less attractive with yellow/brown/missing nashers!

JM acts the role superbly IMO but his genes are probably too classy to get the look 100%. He’s not naturally feral or hard-faced but that’s more of a blessing than a curse, let’s be honest. He’s ruddy gorgeous!

We’re halfway through the week everyone - just four more days to go!

I love Nev

Regarding Tommy's teeth I don't think it's like the old days where crims all have rotten teeth, Ashley in series 1 and Darius in this series seemed very well kempt too. Brett in t'smelly flat not so much.

He is such a good character I loved all his impatient dealings with dithering Kevin in series 1.

Ashley had never done any time though and had a very upmarket lifestyle ….and was a family man.
I do miss Ashley I think he lit up the screen in his scenes

in series 1 as if he wasn’t hate inducing enough when he got Nev to visit him in the prison and then blamed Nev for everything, no self awareness at all just a nasty little piece of work, I imagined how upset Nev must have been, then he said ‘you can go now’ made me so angry I had to keep telling myself ‘it’s not real’

I loved his missus - now she was feisty! 😁

I agree, Kevin was awful. He could’ve easily done some extra work to get the money for the school fees if he was that desperate to send his girls there.
I hated - HATED - the fact he started it all by being such a disgusting weasel of a man - urgh!

And don't forget, any character even remotely brown skinned must always be in some way secretly related to A.N. Other character who also has brown skin and/or dark brown hair.

These days all the petty crims pop across to Turkey for their new teefs.
