Would've liked to know how the Rob / Faisal story ends, but it was still a satisfying conclusion.

Really good. Concentrate on the important stuff, the confrontation between Catherine and TLR, which was brilliant. Details like Faisal sorted in a foot-note. Ryan trying to heal the rift between C and Clare, such a sweet lad!

Was the landrover packed for the trip?
Ryan will be happy with Clare, if so.

Did you see the little grin on his face when the Chief said he thought Ryan was a recruit, he had that look about him.

Was there also a photo of Ryan as a little kid dressed as a police officer?

Yes! Andy seemed to be that rare thing in TV drama, a police big boss who isn't a total prick!

I didn't believe in the Tommy redemption arc which took the shine off it a bit, but I loved the fact that it ended round the kitchen table and was so much simpler than all the frantic conjecture during the week

Glad it wasn’t just me! The waste of time when she was looking at the photo albums then had a little sleep had me raging - THERE IS SO MUCH TO TIE UP! and then just the little off hand comment about the two massive other storylines at the end.

Though I could be being grumpy as I stayed up to watch it rather than get some sleep then my baby was literally up all night again.

A great episode - I certainly didn't that.
