Don't shoot me, I'm not feeling this series as much as the others. Too much filling going on and I'm racking my brains trying to see how it is all going to be wrapped up in one episode.
In series 1, TLR was actively involved in Ann's abduction and Kirsten's murder as well as Lewis and the other flatmate and was taken out by CC on the boat.
In series 2, we had the serial killer storyline, and TLR was in prison but was able to attend his mother's funeral; CC was a suspect due to their history; Alison's son was the killer and John detective committed suicide. TLR was a menacing presence throughout despite being in a cell.
In series 3, the penultimate episode was still set on Tuesday, the day of the court case and great escape, Joanna's body being discovered, everyone going to Nev's, TweedleTwins still out and about. The wedding is supposed to be on Wednesday and CC retires on Thursday and both in 70 minutes...
Few questions:
Why would Darius take the risk of picking up TLR and jeopardise his election chances and efforts to become an upstanding member of the community if he was to get caught - of course that would not have happened because SW didn't write it that way - but that angle didn't sit well with me. The murder of Gary Gogovski happened such a long time ago, what else has TLR done in between/before to make Darius so indebted to him. This is fiction, not real life, don't overthink it Osteo.
Is it usual for someone like Rob to be released from questioning on the same day that he discovered his wife's body ? Would he not be number 1 suspect ?
Why am I struggling with TLR's new clean shaven, slightly suntanned, floppy haired image - is it because it's too similar to his McMafia character ?
So much happened on Trial Tuesday, bring on Wedding Wednesday.
