I was surprised Lana didn't seem much bothered/angry about Tanyel kissing Ron so passionately, even after some of the girls pointing out to her how bizarre it was?

Tanyel definitely has a thing for Ron, and she was showing him what he was missing.

I agree with some posters it's not as interesting as previous years. I miss the random not orchestrated chats they use to keep in. Either these people have no chat or the producers have got more and more controlling. If it wasn't for Iain it wouldn't even be funny. I think Maya is fab the best presenter yet.

Based on mn alone I'd have expected to see Tom, Ron and Kai in bottom three but like last year with Luca for some reason the bad boys are popular.

It's likely Kai will be saved because of his connection with Liv. I thought Spencer was quite funny when he was on screen but him and Aaron have not had much going on since they arrived.

During the main show, we don't see them just hanging out, and I think that's a shame.

Who was it thought the unnamed snake that Harry freed in Book 1 was Nagini? Very wrong of him to use a question as a test and then get the answer wrong himself!

Ron is either a bit dim or has been edited unkindly - but his ability to be wrong whilst insisting he's right seems annoyingly endless. And he cheated.

Of the three facing eviction, the one I'd most like to go is Kai. Difficult to choose between the other two as I'd like to keep both. But if forced, I think I'd choose Spencer

I don't think it's rigged. I'm guessing younger girls/teens are the main voters and they often overlook/don't notice behaviour such as Tom and Ron's if they think they're cute 🙄

I'm glad Shaq apologised and didn't carry on making a big deal of the missing situation. He does seem to have these immature outbursts, but then calms down and thinks more logically.

I actually think Olivia and Kai do really like each other. I can't remember exactly, but didn't Kai pick Olivia originally 🤔 She certainly looks happier than she's done in a while anyway, as does he.

As I suspected, Lana is far too hung up on Ron to stay true to her words. I do think although it's only been 2 weeks, it's more like at least a few months in there, so it's hard to judge for us.

I agree with a PP that Samie seems more put out than anything about Ron, that's why she's told Lana. I didn't like how she had a pop at Lana in the beach hut, as though it's Lana's fault that Ron won't get to know her properly. Gone off her.

I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes - but it’s very clear they’re given a set list of phrases from which they must pick a few each time they know they’re having a filmed ‘getting to know you’ conversation.

So those parts are unspeakably dull and repetitive, to the point of being pointless. None of those phrases are familiar to me from countless decades of ‘getting to know’ men.

@Any1Else yes with the phrases. This years is obviously “on job”. I wonder whether the producers try to make it a thing? I asked 17yr old DD if on job is a well known saying and she said she’d never heard of it. It was the same when everyone was talking about “moving mad” in the series 2 years ago. That is something that young people say but not to the degree that they were using it!!

I've always wondered this re the language. I wonder how much is producer led and how much is them picking it up from each other?

I remember at school, new phrases/words would catch on really quickly.

I find the recoupling speeches the most tedious. They're all so samey year in year out. "I'm excited to see where this goes" -yawn!

The Unseen Bits episodes show much more normal interactions and fun side than the stilted nightly shows.

I def think lack of activity on the threads is due to fewer people watching live - I rarely do.

Also this means I have missed almost every vote as although the app gives me a notification the voting window is so small unless I am really on the ball it's closed when u get there!

I def like will and Jessie the best, they do actually seem ti have fun together as well as with others, although I do find Jessie's boobs distracting, they seem a bit big for her frame, but hey, if she likes them!

I would like to know why will's face is paler than his body, he must be sticking factor 50 on his mush.

Agreed @TitsInAbsentia - will catch up on LI once HV has finished! Will likely need the light relief of LI, to counteract the trauma that will no doubt be encountered during HV!

I’ve just finished watching Unseen bits. I never used to bother but I actually prefer it to the normal nights now. I just wish they would include this footage in the nightly episodes as it’s so much more lighthearted and gives a far more rounded view of the islanders. I would do that and do away with an episode on Saturday night completely. Or move Aftersun to Saturday night to fill the gap. Honestly I really think the increasingly heavily produced content that we see Sunday through to Friday will be the shows downfall. People don’t want to see that night after night and crave the funny stuff. I wish they would listen to their viewers.

I also will be watching after Happy Valley tonight.

I’m assuming there won’t be another boy dumped from the recoupling given we’re already losing 2 and there’s equal numbers? So it doesn’t really matter who Lana chooses as they will both remain in there?

Don't forget, if Lana chooses Casey, Ron is putting his foot down and will get on job with Samie 🙄

Thinking about it neither Lana or Ron have had the opportunity to choose each other for weeks now. We don’t know if Ron would have actually even chosen Lana if he’d had the chance even before Samie.

That stupid finger thing Ron does with Kai and other boys would be enough to give me the ick. I just know that Lana is going to go back to Ron. It’s depressing isn’t it?

I'm so bored. I don't care who goes or who couples up with who. They are all so dull. Lana and Shaq seem normal and empathetic but I don't really like anyone.
