From what we’ve seen of Spencer in the last few days he’s shown a bit of integrity with backing up Shaq on Ron’s poor behaviour of Lana and also that he’s got a cheeky/dry sense of humour. Really wanted to see more of him. Can’t stand “gassed” Kai and watching him “on job” with Olivia while she coyly repeats the thing he’s just said back to him.

Much of what they show you isn't particularly interesting though. It's just when they go over to chat and precisely none of that is interesting. But getting your face seen matters in itself. And that's not closely linked to how interesting you are. Jessie&Will are not typical Islanders, and have interesting chats (compared to the rather low bar of the repetitive yawnsville of the rest) but are becoming invisible. It's a shame

Now the Islanders of course don't know who is getting the screen time so it won't be a factor for them.

I want it to be Kai they send home, but they wont. I suspect Kai was bottom or next to bottom, which is why there are three standing, not two.

I really dislike the "last in first out" inevitability of Islander's choices, and wish they'd break it up a bit by sometimes just going with the public vote - and I think they should do a "vote to evict" every now and again.

They should do the votes on who received the fewest. I agree that otherwise the newer ones just get ousted. Aaron is the low hanging fruit here he has had almost zero input.

I feel sorry for Casey. Lana is just making Ron sweat - although barely - agree Casa Amour will be disastrous for Lana. Ron can’t keep his focus on Lana with her sitting in front of him, he’s hardly going to stay true in Casa Amour.

I like that Ellie doesn’t dress in quite such a tacky way as the other girls - although the blue metallic boots 😳

I still like Olivia - she’s quite self contained which is quite a refreshing change from someone like Ekin.

I really don’t like Tanyel anymore - I don’t believe she’s into Spencer, she’s just trying to find anyone to be in to her.

Samie did stand up for herself but it came across as slightly indignant that Ron might possibly not be into her rather than her pulling him for being inconsistent though I realise that’s how she couched it.

💯this. I never understand why the producers seem hell bent on keeping certain islanders in when it’s clear that the viewers can’t stand them and want them gone. It was the same with Luca last year. He was universally hated across all SM but he was rarely in the bottom.

It’s frustrating watching these young girls accept shitty behaviour. But they all do it with few exceptions. Gemma from last year and Amber are the only girls I can think of who showed real strength of character and self worth.

I think Casey was quite wise to bring up the triangle thing early on. He could easily be getting to know Ellie, Samie but he's focusing on Lana. I agree - her body language when with Ron gives her away.
Annoyed me last night when she said that she has history with Ron and has only known Casey 48 hours. Yes that's as maybe but look at the content of those 2 weeks you have known Ron! She reminds me of the type of person who stays in a shitty relationship because the first couple of months were so good (when the man turned the charm on and weren't showing their true selves) - except their ' good period' was less than a week. This is who he is Lana!! Not the first few days Ron.

There definitely seems a shift in the boys mentality the last couple of years in that they seem to actively seek out a “test” in order to work out if their feelings for their original girl are true. It completely winds me up as in my eyes it’s a deliberate misunderstanding of what it means to be tested. The test is the situation and realising that you don’t want to go there with someone new NOT going there and deciding who you like more!! It’s so disrespectful!!!!

I'm enjoying this year, as there's more random matches being made...in years before it seemed like for the most part if there's not an immediate interest from the beginning then that's that. I'm not happy that Spencer will obviously be going home because I like him and think he is so much more interesting than Kai with his three stock phrases on repeat.

Can't make up my mind as to whether Shaq was in the right or wrong, but it felt like he listened to Tanya's point of view on it without blowing up at her which counts for something.

Lana is definitely treading a fine line now, and risks being seen as just using Casey to get to Ron. Which feels mad to say after less than two days!

I like Samie. I think she has some integrity and is smart and straight up. She saw straight through Ron's act and had the decency to point it out Lana.
Funny how she was such hot property when she first arrived and then it all dissipated, the boys reverted elsewhere, and she never seemed to form a strong romantic connection...
I think she and Tom fancy each other a bit but it seems like more of a convenience interest.
